About this listen

Stop the spiral of anxiety in relationships. Learn how to heal from painful patterns, let go of fear, and build healthy, secure relationships, even if you've felt trapped for years.

Are you trapped in cycles of neediness and withdrawal that leave you exhausted and frustrated?

This painful pattern is more common than you might think.

A study revealed that approximately 20 percent of the adult population exhibits anxious attachment styles. Trapped in unfulfilling cycles of clinging and distancing, this group grapples with persistent feelings of insecurity and self-doubt. The struggle is real—but it does not have to define your life forever.

Imagine a world where you are not governed by fear. The Anxious Attachment Detox unravels the complex internal workings of the anxious mind, offering luminous insights and practical strategies for overcoming these patterns, empowering you to reclaim your life and foster enduring relationships.

This transformative guide is carefully crafted to speak to individuals like you, with real-life examples, compassionate language, and evidence-based strategies drawn from cutting-edge psychological research.

Now, you might be skeptical. "I've read dozens of self-help books", you may be thinking. Or you may ask, "Would these techniques work for someone as anxious as me?" or even "What if confronting these issues worsens my anxiety?"

This empathetic guide understands those reservations and does not claim to replace therapy. Rather, it aims to enhance your understanding of anxious attachment—to function as an essential companion in your journey towards peaceful attachment interactions.

Picture a life where you are no longer overwhelmed by anxiety, where you look forward to each interaction with your loved ones with excitement, not dread. It's possible, and you're capable of achieving this. With a little determination, you can break free from the reign of anxious attachment.

This book really opened my eyes to patterns I hadn’t fully understood before. It helped me connect the dots between my fear of being left out or misunderstood and how that shows up in my relationships. The way it explained anxious attachment made me feel seen, not judged, and the tools it offered actually feel doable, not overwhelming.

What I appreciated most is how it encourages self-awareness without shame. It’s not just about fixing something, it’s about learning where those patterns come from and how to respond differently. If you're looking to build more secure and peaceful relationships and want to feel more confident in yourself, this book is a compassionate and empowering place to start.

What struck me most was the compassionate and understanding tone. It wasn't about shaming or labeling anxious attachment as a flaw, but rather about gently guiding you to understand its roots and how it plays out in your relationships. The audiobook delved into those toxic patterns – the overthinking, the need for constant validation, the fear of abandonment – in a way that felt both insightful and relatable.
The practical tools and strategies provided concrete steps you could take to manage those insecurities and begin to build a more secure sense of self in relationships. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on self-compassion and recognizing your own worth, independent of external validation.
If you're tired of the emotional rollercoaster of anxious attachment and long to build healthier, more secure connections, this audiobook could be a really empowering step towards healing and growth.

Truly hope people read this book. If you suffer from anxiety (and so many do), an inability to be alone, or the habit of catastrophizing people's reactions to you, you may not realize how much it's impacting your relationships and quality of life. This book is full of valuable information on how to identify your own challenges with anxious attachment. It offers strategies to start making changes, so you can better communicate and understand how your partner or family members perceive your anxiety. Sometimes this shows up as clinginess (which can make them further disengage from you). The "avoid always and never" in conversations hit deep, as well as the techniques to calm the mind when you can't stop replaying your daily interactions. The info is laid out clearly, with examples on how to center yourself when waiting for a response from someone, or finding new ways to connect with your inner value. Highly recommend!

I picked this up after noticing the same clingy patterns wrecking my relationships. The author explains anxious attachment in plain language, then walks you through doable “mini‑exercises” to calm the constant what‑ifs. I started using the breathing drill and journaling prompts right away; within days I felt less panicked when texts weren’t answered ASAP. It’s honest, comforting, and best of all action‑oriented. If your brain spirals at the hint of distance, this listen is a lifesaver.

I purchased this book to help a friend who has been honest with me for many years about his father leaving his family when he was a teenager. You can hear the pain in his voice when he talks about it. I wanted to be more informed on the phenomenon he is experiencing. Many of the topics in the book make sense to me, and align with my friend's experiences. At least now I'll have a better understanding of what he's feeling, and some of the root causes of the anxiety he shares. Thank you! A timely resource!
