To celebrate an April Fool's Day appearance by the island's most famous mystery author, Death on Demand bookstore owner Annie Darling creates a unique promotion. Just when you think the general pace of the story slows down a bit here comes something else up and running. Good relaxing listen.

the new characters are giving the series new energy, the 3 old ladies was getting a bit predictable. Kept me guessing on who did it.

The only trouble with the audio version is that you want a pen and paper to write down all the mystery authors and books that she mentions.

This was an okay addition to the Death on Demand Mystery series. This story seemed to lack the usual fun of the other books. I'm glad that Laurel didn't play a large role in this book but the role she did play wasn't believable. The story was just off.
