Publisher's summary

An Amazon Top-100 best seller!

My name is Courtney Jane Salinger...
and I'm sick of games.

Sick of the Friday night bar-scene-cum-meat-market.
Sick of the boy-girl, man-woman, Mars-Venus, flirtation-without-expectation, game-playing nonsense.
Sick of awful dates and one-night stands, booty calls and guys who don’t call back, mixed messages or no messages and - and - and...I'm sick of all of it.

I’m done.
I just can't do it anymore.
It's too hard, and worse: little by little, it's making me hard.
It's breaking my heart.

What do I want?
That's easy.

I want a house in suburbia with a white picket fence.
I want babies to buckle into a minivan.
But most of all, I want to be married.
I want a husband.

So I've made an important decision: I'm making my escape from the dating world and the single life. I've filled out my application on ArrangeMe.com and I'm putting my fate into the hands of experts.

Is it a little scary?
Sure.
I mean, I have no idea who I'll end up with. After all, I'm planning to marry a complete stranger.

But between you and me?
I can't wait.
Being arranged can't possibly be worse than being single.
Can it?

Good but leaves you hanging

I enjoyed the story Arrange Me up until the end. Which left me hanging. It’s not exactly a cliffhanger, but close.

Storyline send to stretch....

I found that the storyline stretched the imagination beyond belief. Rich heiress working in upper echelons of finance, tells a bartender that she's done with dating, being hurt, etc.? Not likely. She's an heiress, the sole child of the family; it would have been engrained to be very cautious about disclosing any personal information as she could become a kidnap victim. Most likely he would have to be vetted in order for her to date him. Putting that aside, that they actually get matched with three weeks left before she's to be matched? That he even decides to do it is phenomenal. Then she acts like she has cold feet once the deed is done other than having sex any and everywhere in their hotel room(s). And of course the book sets out lots of unresolved strings at the last minute and the story stops. Buy the next story too find out what happens next in all these strings that are suddenly unresolved. This is the second book in a row that I've had this happen and I'm not impressed with this tactic of forcing a continuing sales stream. At best it's a gamble. Especially when the female narrator is terrible at narrating, especially male voices thus at least half the book makes a listener seriously annoyed. If a narrator can't credibly narrate the opposite sex, don't ask them to narrate it. On the opposite end of the spectrum, J.F. Harding did an excellent job of narrating all voices which was much appreciated along with correct pronunciations.

Cute and Sweet

This book is super cute!

It’s not instantly obvious how it’s going to end.

I was, however, quite pleased with the direction the author took it!

The characters of Josh and Courtney are quite cute together!

The Male narrator was sultry perfection. The female narrator did a fantastic job but her voice isn’t my cup of tea.

Loved this so much! 😢❤

Haaah the premise for this sounds like a scam 😬😂 Didn't expect this to have such a depressing feel to it. If you're painfully single like me, you may want to prepare for low self esteem reinforcement. If you're taken, then 🖕! LOL jk it was funnier in my head 🤣 but seriously, this is depressing to me 😢❤ but don't worry, this has the very best hea. 🥰

Good story...female narrator weak

I truly enjoyed this story, but wished the female narrator was more familiar with pronunciation of names of music and places... and her male voices were too forced. Maybe she’ll get better with practice. I thought editors were supposed to eliminate these types of faux pas.
The male narrator was good.

Charming Story, Terrible Female Narrator

This is an original story, with charming characters and colorful settings. A woman sick of the 'dating game', decides to get a matchmaking service that offers marriage at first sight. Meanwhile, the hot bartender at her local bar finds himself very attracted to her. He's not ready for marriage and she wants nothing else. You can, I'm sure, see where this is headed. And the story is delightful, it really is.

HOWEVER, it is nearly ruined by Brooke Hayden's terrible narration. She has what they used to call a 'whiskey voice', and it's not unattractive. (Think Miley Cyrus) But she can't speak in any other register, she cannot do accents at all, and she mispronounces words like it's her job. Which it most decidedly is not. There is no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism. There are online pronunciation samples on youtube. And really, doesn't anyone listen to these things before they're released?

J.F. Harding did a beautiful job on his chapters and he saved the book for me. So bravo to that!

There is a sequel to this book, but I have no idea if it will ever be on Audible or not. If Ms Hayden narrates, I won't be getting it.

Fun original storyline... bad female narrator

Narration: pretty mismatched duo here. This is a dual POV story. The male narrator was actually very good, good pronunciation and a narrator I would repeat. However the female narrator was BAD. I gave narration a 3 stars because the female was barely a 1 and the male a 4. She had a Miley Cyrus after a week of concerts type of voice and made awful male voices. She also mispronounced several words. When she said viscount with a strong S pronunciation I wanted to quit listening. But hey, the story was original enough that made me want to stay and hear what happens.

Story: I felt like this was an original storyline and I’ve listened to 400+ books. Our heroine is sick of dating and pays an agency to be arranged for marriage. Meanwhile she starts developing feelings for her friendly bartender. The story is pretty impossible to happen in real life but just let yourself go into the plot and it’s very enjoyable.

Opposites attract romance. 1POV. Cliffhanger. Book 1/2

This is a Sexy romance where the two characters are in their late 20’s and have opposite lives. The female works with numbers at a hedge fund company and the man tends bar while trying to write plays. This story is mostly based in NYC.

I thought the narration was fine... granted the woman’s male voice is off... but overall fine. JF was excellent.

This has a cliffhanger ending. I’m kind of upset bc I did not see any indication of this incredible description.

Such a fun and unique story

I really loved the idea behind this storyline! An arranged marriage via a company and both parties are eagerly tossing themselves into the game! I found this to be an incredibly refreshing plot and pretty unique. Arrange Me is really sweet and full of heart. Courtney is just looking for love and she’s tired of finding it in all the wrong places. So she hands the reigns over. Of course when she makes her decision all those long lost men start to come out from hiding and just throw themselves at Courtney… isn’t that life though? Seriously!

I like characters that know what they want and go after it. Courtney is ready for marriage, she’s ready for a happily ever after with the whole 2.5 kids with the white picket fence. If you enjoy romance… hopeless or hopeful… you’ll love Arrange Me. Yes, we don’t really get the full ending as this is a duet. This was just a charming read! Totally captivated me! I can’t wait for the conclusion.
