Publisher's summary

Frank and Joe circle a new case in the wilds of Alaska in the 24th book in the thrilling Hardy Boys Adventures series.

Frank and Joe Hardy are excited when their parents’ friends, the Adenshaws, invite them to come visit their home in Alaska. The brothers will have the perfect guide to explore the beautiful landscape the area is known for — their hosts’ daughter, Kate. During the visit, Kate introduces the Hardys to her beloved peregrine falcon.

There’s a major falconry competition coming up in the United Arab Emirates, and even though Kate can’t compete, she — like so many others in the falconry world — is eagerly looking forward to the event, which has millions riding on it. One California falconer even offered to buy Kate’s falcon so he could enter it in the contest. When Kate’s peregrine goes missing, it looks like the Californian or someone else may have turned criminal in their ruthless desire to win. Kate is devastated, and the Hardy boys have to figure out if her falcon could have flown off…or if it was stolen.

Frank and Joe may not know much about birds of prey, but they do know how to solve a mystery. But can they soar to success?

Not the same. Too Sappy and Preachy

The different narrator took a little getting used to. Not sure if it was the story difference, but a bit melodramatic and teen romance focused at times. Almost turned it off at one point but stuck it out as I have listened to the Hardy Boys since I was 5.( now I am 52). Also a bit sappy and preachy at times. Despite my general support for environmental and First Nation causes, I didn’t need the slightly( and occasionally obvious) woke push that has invaded everything else in life and wanted to just enjoy some mindless entertainment. The mystery and bigger picture theme was still good. On the bigger Scale it was the worst one of all Hardy Boys books so far I have listened to. I have a few others downloaded, so I hope they don’t get progressively worse!!

New narrator 👎👎

Hardy Boys is always great but the story this time lacked the usual excitement. -( 3 ½ )
Tim Gregory has always been the narrater and it just sounds WRONG to have a different narrater☹️👎

Although Hardy Boys also great because they get into crazy situations but you always know no one important will get hurt. but theycou
they could use some more. the only way they get hurt is
• falling
• getting knocked out
• punched

I don’t like how they used another voice!!!! It’s not the same at all. The new ones are getting worse book by book. I feel like there running out of ideas and it can show

New voice?

The story is pretty good and there’s nothing wrong with the actual performance but why did they change the voice, if it’s like this in the next books I’m going to be more upset.

? Tim ??

The book is good of course, it’s the Hardy Boys. But, with out Tim Gregory reading it, it just was not the same. My son and I listen to the Hardy Boys over and over, he will not listen to this one.
The reader is good and does and good job, just not the same.

Author

Very good, although I would like to hear a version with Tim Gregory reading. It is not the same without him. The reader is okay, not bad.
It’s just that it doesn’t sound the same without Tim. A version with him would be awesome.

The new narrator is so bad

The new narrator has possibly the worst voice I will ever hear. He is so melodramatic and lame he does not put enough effort into narrating bring back Tom

I like the new narrator!

The book was great! I don't know why so many people have a problem with a little bit of change... There's nothing wrong with the new voice. He does a good job! Get over it.

New Narrator

Love the Hardy Boys stories but the narrator was meh. I don’t want to seem mean but I also don’t want people to lose interest in my favorite books.
