About this listen

Assassin David Slaton clashes with the Russians in this action-packed espionage thriller from USA Today best-selling author Ward Larsen.

Assassin's Run revives globe-trotting, hard-hitting assassin David Slaton for another breathless adventure. When a Russian oligarch is killed by a single bullet on his yacht off the Isle of Capri, Russian intelligence sources speculate that a legendary Israeli assassin, long thought dead, might be responsible. However, David Slaton - the assassin in question - is innocent. Realizing the only way to clear his name is to find out who’s truly responsible, he travels to Capri.

While he searches, a web of disparate events unfolds across the Middle East. Three ships, owned by the group of Russians, deliver a mysterious cargo to the shores of the Arabian Peninsula. In Morocco, a Russian aerospace company begins flight testing an innovative new drone.

From Switzerland to the Red Sea to Morocco, Slaton gradually uncovers a conspiracy of monumental scope. It is a plot that will change the world strategic order - and one that goes straight to the top of the Russian government.

This Slaton series is consistently great

This story is a bit scary because it’s not outside the realm of possibility. It is another action pack story. It was great having Sorensen back. How she came up with the plot, however was a bit sudden. PJ Ochlan has settled in nicely into becoming the voice of the Slaton series

Another great book by Ward Larsen!

I believe this is my fourth book by this author and once again I’m amazed at the depth of detail and creativity that is so beautifully described in these intriguing and sophisticated stories. Obviously Mr. Larsen has a deep knowledge of the dark world of espionage, and the ongoing struggles between the world’s powers to change the course of history. I look forward to the next book by this incredible author.

Never a dull moment and intriguing to the very end

Extremely well done and very difficult to put down. Allow plenty of time and don't rush to finish.

Coplex Plots and Lots of Action

Thank God for Ward Larsen's books in this pandemic. I am very happy to have recently discovered these David Slaton books, the quarantining has been difficult and these books have helped to keep me sane. I love both the complexity of the plots and the great storytelling contained in these books, most other thriller writers cannot even come close to Ward Larsen. I am surprised that he is not more widely read, he is in the same ball park as Mark Greaney and Tom Wood. Love this series.

Another great addition to the series!

This was really good! As a lover of the genre I’ve downed about 700 audiobooks, this author is one of my favorites as is the character. In this story he is made more real, more human, more realistic which is refreshingly different than the superhuman zero personality types too often portrayed in this role. I’d highly recommended this and can’t wait for the next. Shout out to the narrator who again did a perfect job in bringing this to life. He nailed it in my humble opinion.

It's nice that the band is back together. DS & Co makes his adventures much more unique. Looking forward to the next one.
