About this listen

You were born alone.

You will live alone.

You will die alone.

This is the burden of the assassin.

A master assassin craves one thing above all else: a normal everyday life.

Trained to be a killer from the age of 11, Peter has never known the things the average person takes for granted. He has always been an asset.

Burned by the CIA and now occupying their secret hit list, he works overseas as a Ronin, living a solitary life in hiding.

But someone knows where he is.

A strange man arrives at his door offering Peter the chance of a real life. "Get this done and you can be free," he is told.

All he has to do is complete a three-name kill list in one month. Make it look like a series of unfortunate accidents.

What could be so complicated about that?

Good stuff!

I really enjoyed the first book. As good as the “Victor”the assassin, series by Tom Wood.

Shoot 'em up! Bang! Bang!

This is a very good book. That said, it was a little too much action for me. If you are seriously into details about various guns, and lots and lots of action, then this is the book and Peter Black is the hero for you. I'd like to know more of Peter's adventures and what happens with Michael, but I just don't have the energy to handle the rest of the series.

Pays homage to most of the good assassin novels

Enjoying it so far. There's a little bit of Orphan X. A little bit of Rhythm Section. Some John Rain. Some Jack Reacher. Some Jason Bourne. Some Gray Man.

Very Good Novel

I enjoyed the novel very much. The character development was excellent as was the storylines. The reader did a fantastic job and made everything very entertaining. I recommend this book to those who enjoy the Orphan X series and the Victor series. This work is worth a credit by far. I look forward to the other novels about Peter Black.
