About this listen

When is a rescue not a rescue? When it’s a kidnapping.

Flicka and Dieter, whose real name is Raphael Mirabaud, tried to escape her ex-husband’s Secret Service and army, but they couldn’t. Dozens of military personnel, maybe hundreds, surrounded them, trying to kidnap Flicka. The only way out was with mercenaries hired by Raphael’s father.

But Raphael’s father has other plans for them, plans that would force Raphael to go back to a destiny he tried to leave behind, and his father will hold Flicka and Alina hostage and threaten their lives to make him do it.

The story gets darker at midnight.

My mother named me after an Angel!

The narrators take us on this continuing escapade with Flicka and Raphael. So hang on tight for a great story with clear narration. Flicka and Raphael aka Dieter are on yet another world wind of travel at the hands of his family this time. Raphael will do whatever it takes to save Flicka and his daughter but can he save them from something he barely escaped himself when he was just a teenager? All I can say is hang on tight for the next book because we do get a cliffhanger with this one. We get so much passion though from this couple, opening up, truth and more lies also. Fantastic story.

At Midnight all sorts of Magic can Happen!

Once Again the narration for Flicka's story comes to beautiful life with the narration by Lucy Rivers and Jason Clarke. Flicka is finally married to her true love Raphael/ Deiter but of course so much more is in store to see them happily settled at last. This audiobook showcases the emotional journeys of both of them beautifully and keeps you on tenterhooks with the suspence of escaping the very real dangers and machinations of the traitors around them. Flicka has grown to love Alina as her very own precious daughter of her heart and you feel it. So much suspense and intense action to keep us on our toes. Blair has blown me away again with her writing and the narrators did an amazing job allowing me to submerse myself in Flicka's and Raphael's life. Suspenseful, passionate, steamy, romantic and a true joy to listen to. This book ends on a twisty cliff hanger and its full speed ahead to want to see them get their happily ever after....

Another escape…

The continuation of Flicka and Raphael/Dieter’s story in At Midnight. The narrators did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and bringing out their emotions/feelings as they navigate through their lives as captives of the Ilyin Bratva.
Flicka and Raphael/Dieter use all their ingenuity and know how to survive the betrayals and nightmare they are currently living. Do they finally get to escape in one piece? Or do they have to fight through another nightmare before they can live in peace as husband and wife? We will just have to wait for the conclusion in Happily Ever After.

Great addition to series.

This is a continuation of Flicka and Dieter story.
Just as you think everything is going to be alright
the plot goes in a completely different directions than
I thought it was going. Had me turning the pages to see
what was going to happen next.
I'm looking forward to the next part of this series because
this one finished up on a cliffhanger .
The narrator did a brilliant job of telling the story.
I voluntarily reviewed an audio copy of this book.

Thrilling Cliffhanger

Dieter and Flicka are doing everything they can to stay alive and get to freedom. Luckily they've both been training for this their whole lives. Love the plot twists and the cloak and dagger measures.

The end is such a cliffhanger, I may have cursed a little when the end credits started. So good! Can't wait for the next one.

4th and best so far. Excellent narrators!

So far the best in this series. Could not stop listening. The story has more than it’s share of intrigue along with the normal side order of steam. On top of that, it ends on a cliffhanger and now I must wait for the next book. The bad guys are truly despicable and they are everywhere. Narrators do a top notch job. A must read from my favorite author. Start with the first audiobook or hard copy and read through to the last, no disappointment here.

The danger continues

Flicks and Dieter (Raphael) continue to face danger as they are trapped at the Mirabeau house. Will they escape the clutches of the Russian bratva or will this be the end? Enjoyed listening to the story as much as I did reading it the first time around. Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers continue to bring the story to life with their excellent narrations.

I am hooked on Flicka's story!!

I think the cliffhanger will kill me with the wait to see what happens next for Flicka and Dieter!! Where this book had more drama, I could feel Flicka and Dieter's fear in where they have ended up. I liked that we now know more about the elusive Dieter Swartz and his background and I understand his reasons for leaving however I think that I was just as discouraged with the events as Dieter was when it felt as if all of his plans had been thwarted and it seemed hopeless. There were a few twists to their story that I did not see coming and waiting for the resolution is going to be hard. I do wonder where Wolf is in this story but I'm sure that we will see in the next book that I am going to eagerly await for!

In the audio version of this book, Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers did a great job narrating this story. The pair really brought this story to life and made it an enjoyable listening experience. At the end of this installment I will admit that I had a hard time putting this book down! I have been hooked to Flicka and Dieter's story since book one and like most others want to see the pair get their HEA. I have loved all of Ms. Babylon's other books and this one is no different and would recommend this one as well as the entire series thus far to others!

Kidnapped Again

Raphael Mirabaud aka Dieter Schwarz, trying to figure out how or why he was named after an angel.
Flicka von Hannover, kidnapped once again. This time by Rachael's father, in the name of safety's sake he said. Her, Raphael and Alina were really being held hostage, in the suite of a mansion.
Raphael promises he will get them out, as soon as he could. They just need to "get by" for now, without getting caught.
Of course, cannot forget to mention Pierre Grimaldi, still doing all he can to beg and lie or get others to beg and lie for him, to get Flicka back to Monaco.
After a visit from Maxence, Pierre's brother, Flicka knew what she had to do, and I'm not telling.
Raphael makes calls to those he thought he could trust to help save a precious shipment. He finds out who he can't trust. His father being included.
Oh My Goodness!!! Blair Babylon has written an exceptional story. This one was heart gripping.
Narration by Jason Clark & Lucy Rivers was fantastic.

Oh, so freaking good!

A cliffhanger? Check! At the edge of your seat throughout? Check! Another incredible read by Blair? Check!

There is one more in the series and I cannot wait. Flicka, Deiter and Alina have wormed their way into my heart and their story is amazing.

Aside from the fact that Flicka is a princess, she is a kick ass woman who will not put up with crap from anyone. She has proved it numerous times throughout this series.

Deiter has so many layers it's hard to keep track sometimes. He is forced to do many things, but he draws the line again - bit it doesn't look good.

We are left hanging at a crucial part of the story, but I know Blair will deliver!
