About this listen

Jack, Mike and Trip were ripped from their loved ones and thrown into a dangerous world they know nothing about, relentlessly pursued by Night Runners, Zombies and terrifying new creatures known only as Whistlers.

Like their own worlds, civilization has collapsed and danger lurks around every corner. The trio can do nothing but march forward and attempt to find some answers - some way to escape from the nightmare. Seeking only to return to their families, they must navigate through the unknown.

Everything seems to be converging Atlantis. Will Jack, Mike and Trip find what they are looking for in the city? Or will they meet an end that none of them were prepared for?

Tufo has to be my favorite author

The book is awesome, creepy story line, hilarious stoner, and the best main character seriously I can never get enough Talbot in my life. And with Tufo's interactions with Fans seriously you need to become a Tufonian!

No one writes like Mark Tufo & John O'Brien ...

And NO ONE brings thier characters alive like Sean Runette!!!! Sean's narrations are always right on the money!!

Suspense and laughter

Book 2 in the Shrouded World Series restored my faith in Mike Talbot the protagonist. I wasn't sure I was gonna like the series but he's back in form with sarcastic quips, "guy humor" and more predicaments than most of us will encounter in several lifetimes. This new world is downright creepy. The new characters are interesting and we'll thought out. I wish Sean Runnette could differentiate the voices more. I am not hearing any difference between Talbot and John. ...perhaps a portent of the plot to come?

If you liked the previous Mike Talbot books this one's a winner.

Entertaining

I love the narration for this book, just like the others . Mark Tufo books always make you wonder what happens next. There is more to Tripp in this book, the story line does him more justice, than the others. After finishing I was left with so many unanswered questions. I will be first in line for the third book when it comes out. I finished this one in two days. The purchase is worth it, and I really, really, want to know what happens next!!!
