As Thelma Rue, the president of the Ladies Auxiliary at St. John’s Baptist Church, and her best friend, Pearl White, prepare to open the church on the Sunday before Easter, they stumble upon their hairdresser, Triston Stylz, who has been poisoned and dumped in one of their Sunday School rooms.

What first seems to be an investigation for the local police turns into an undercover investigation for the Ladies Auxiliary since the mayor, George “Moon Pie” Hubbard, directs the death be ruled as accidental since it’s an election year. With the help of her dearest friends, Pearl White and Myra Armstrong, along with six handpicked women from the Ladies Auxiliary, they begin the hush-hush investigation to find a killer on the loose in the small town of Sunnyside, South Carolina.

Thelma and her posse, ranging in ages from their sixties to their eighties, run all over tarnation looking for clues and questioning suspects who may or may not be the killer. The women are hot on the trail of a murderer they fear will strike again. Will one of the ladies be the next murder victim? This mystery is told with wit and southern charm, promising you will laugh out loud as you try to figure out the identity of the actual murderer.
