Great Story

It’s definitely a fun story, but it’s also full of action. There aren’t too many dull moments since the whole thing is kind of a mystery and she’s literally on the run. Lots of twists and turns.

A GREAT NEW ADDITION TO COZY PARANORMAL

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS FIRST OUTING WITH JOSIE AND HER ADVENTURES. I ADMIT I GOT A BIT IMPATIENT ONCE OR TWICE, BUT SUCH IS THE CASE WITH THE FIRST BOOK IN MOST ANY SERIES. THERE IS GROUNDWORK TO LAY AND RELATIONSHIPS TO CLARIFY. THE BOOK IS A WINNER, AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT.

Courage and curiousity

The heroine is smart, sassy, and determined to make her own luck in a small town where she can live quietly and under the radar. But mysteries and secrets threaten her new job and relationships. Can she find her magic in time to manifest her wishful hopes for her future? Just ask the black cat that is willing to act as an ally in a most surprising way!

Bait & Witch

The storyline seemed quite familiar to others in which the protagonist learns that she was born a witch but her powers are realized as the story progresses. The main character is a whistleblower on the run. She has accepted a position as the town’s Librarian in a small rural Oregon town after working in D.C.’s Library of Congress. The concept of the story is that she & a co-worker overheard a conversation they weren’t supposed to hear regarding a corrupt U.S. Senator & now she is running for her life, hoping she can remain anonymous in the middle of nowhere. The storyline & characters are interesting enough that I would give Book 2 a try.

Good cat. Good supporting characters.

It was painful to endure the stupidity of main character, as she threw away her own power. And it was disturbing how she bought into her mother’s false vision to excuse suppressing her own magic. The historic audio files were good, but the wisdom seemed useless as the main character ignored the info to hold on to her mother’s errors. I hope that in subsequent books the main character is not so tediously slow.
