Barnabas Collins (November 1968)
Barnabas Collins, the 175 year-old vampire, is introduced in this story of gothic suspense.
Your blood will grow cold as you listen to the never-before-told story of the foggy night in 1899 when Barnabas Collins first arrived in Collinwood. You’ll chill to the full horror of the real truth about Barnabas - a secret so terrible that it could not be revealed until now.

Barnabas was for my dark heart and Captain Kirk was for my light heart.
So, it was with a giddy heart that I found these audiobooks. This was my first of the recorded series and you know I will be buying more.
Ms. Scott's voice is a pleasant one to listen to. I listened in bed at night and it was like listening to my mother reading to me at night.
The story is about the young, pretty girl that is unfortunately crippled, Greta Collins. Greta falls in love with Barnabas who treats Greta simply as a woman. He does not mind her infirmity.
And here beginneth the spiral towards tragedy.
My obsession wakens!
