Very good entry in great series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in WWII. I have read/listened to many of W E B Griffin's military books and have loved them all. This one is right up there in his style of building a story around a number of different characters in different phases of the War and keeping the listener interested in all of them. Looking forward to downloading more from this series.

What other book might you compare Battleground to and why?

All of his WWII, Korean and after books are quite interesting and enjoyable to listen to

Which character – as performed by Dick Hill – was your favorite?

Capt Pickerin is a favorite in many of these books. Killer McCoy didn't have a big role in this book but he is a favorite of mine.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not a laughing or crying type book but when some of the regular characters are lost in the war, I feel like I've lost a friend.

Any additional comments?

Read all of this series, you will enjoy it.

Battleground

Another excellent book in W.E.B. Griffins Corp series. Mr. Dick Bill just may be the best narrator I've ever listened to. A good narrator makes a world of difference when listening to an audio book.

Even your Clearance won't protect you

John M. Moore learned how to speak Japanese and had learned the culture. Know the culture can also help the Marine corps.

Expecting more battleground story

Good listen, but thought too much spent on lives of characters. Had expected more about the fighting.

Great

With our country failing, the story connects to my brotherhood of the United States Marine Corps (USMC 1966-70).
Thanks
