About this listen

Celebrated hairstylist Marigold Bloom knows how to tease beauty out of chaos - until her own life becomes untamable. After losing her prestigious job in Chicago, Marigold returns home to Good Hope, Wisconsin. But her plan to lay low and consider her next move is complicated by an unexpected blast from the past.

Sheriff Cade Rallis has never forgotten the blissful weekend he spent with the irresistible Marigold in Door County. Seeing her again is like a one-two punch to his heart, and he knows he can't lose her a second time.

Marigold never meant for her stay in Good Hope to be permanent, and she certainly never meant to fall for Cade. As Valentine's Day approaches and her dream job beckons, will Cupid's grip on Marigold be strong enough to keep her in Good Hope? Or will the lure of fame and fortune in the big city prove impossible to resist?

I enjoyed the lessons and story but i do prefer no sex in a novel.

The story has enjoyable characters yet awkward voices at times.
I would maybe read again if there werent the sex

enjoyable characters

Marigold Bloom was a rising star in the hair stylist industry in Chicago, when she is suddenly fired and has returned to her hometown of Good Hope to regroup. Her plan is to stay for a few weeks while she puts out feelers. While she enjoys being around her family, Marigold has always felt the need to prove herself and to stick to her goal of becoming the most successful Bloom sister, will she allow that long ago pledge stand in the way of love?
Sheriff Cade Rallis has his eye on Marigold ever since they hookup at his cousin's wedding. Now she's back and, even though she says that she's leaving, Marigold seems to be getting more involved with town events...including getting Cade re-elected. Can Cade convince Marigold that she needs to be with him and remain in Good Hope?
Sweet story, even though Marigold had her annoying moments!

I don't do a lot of pre ordering, but this is one series I do. As soon as one comes out, I already long for the next one. The third book will help you to think about what is important and what is success truly!! Love the narrator and glad it is the same one as the other two.

Amazing as ever!!

Possible spoilers. This had some very surprising moments and some very sweet moments. I was surprised when Fin called her sister out. Up until that moment, I hadn't liked Fin's character very much. And I was surprised when Cade realized Marigold was looking for an excuse to break up and he had the strength to just give her what she wanted without a real fight about it. I've been in that kind of situation before but I selfishly argued with her because I didn't want to lose her and thought I knew best but I'm not sure that I did.

Sweet story
