Publisher's summary

They’ve been best friends since seventh grade. But this summer, teetering on the threshold of 30, four women are going to need each other more than ever

Cassie has sworn off men after yet another bad date though, deep down, she’s still looking for Mr. Right. A long-haired, tattooed biker is definitely not him, so there’s no harm in a few Harley rides through Sonoma. Right?

Julie married her high school sweetheart too young and now wonders how her life became all about leaky faucets and checkbook balances. Maybe love isn’t enough to sustain the perfect couple.

Marty’s firefighter husband takes her for granted, and with her marriage on the rocks, an old flame begins to look mighty tempting. She’s seriously thinking of crossing that line.

Beth is a busy doctor trapped in a body that’s betrayed her yet again and she’s becoming a difficult patient and a secretive friend. She’s fighting for her life.

Life can change in an instant...or a summer. As these four friends deal with life’s challenges, the strength of their bond will see them through.

No one delves into the complexities of female friendship better than number-one New York Times best-selling author Robyn Carr.

More please!

Just when I was getting attached to the four main characters it ended! This book could have taken more time rolling out. There was so much room for more.
Good narration but not much variance between voices.

Very relatable, feel good story.

I’ve read all the Virgin River books. There’s a part where Walt shows up at Jacks Bar and mentions Cassie. For some reason, I was interested in his character and wished for more of a storyline. It was glossed over pretty quickly, but almost like a wink toward the readers of both series to catch. Enjoyed the story. Going to purchase another RC book.

Main Character Annoying as Crap

Overall a good story and narration, what Ive come to expect from Robyn Carr. I enjoyed most of the other characters, and the story was good and kept me
interested. Cassie the main character is just unbearable. She is snotty, judge mental, whiny, and overall someone I came to really dislike. Luckily there are several other enjoyable characters to take the spotlight away from her

Lots of togetherness

I loved it. I read virgin river first so I remember walt. So glad I found this book great to hear how his life went. In virgin river books he only had a very small part. P
