BOOK ONE OF THE GALLAGHERS OF ARDMORE TRILOGY

In Gallagher’s Pub, where the fire is burning low and the pints are waiting, #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts has a story to tell...

Determined to reevaluate her life, Jude Murray flees America to take refuge in Faerie Hill Cottage, immersing herself in the study of Irish folklore and discovering hope for the future of the magical past.

Finally back home in Ireland after years of traveling, Aidan Gallagher possesses an uncommon understanding of his country’s haunting myths. Although he’s devoted to managing the family pub, a hint of wildness still glints in his eyes - and in Jude, he sees a woman who can both soothe his heart and stir his blood. And he begins to share the legends of the land with her - while they create a passionate history of their own.

Good Book. Excellent Narrator.

Jewels of the Sun was exactly what you would expect of Nora Roberts. Magical story and setting yet the main character was extremely relatable. Excellent performance by Patricia Daniels.

Jewels of the sun

The story is lovely, the narrator’s voice is pleasant, however it feels more like she’s reading than telling the story, and the ‘in her head thoughts’ special effect echo is cheesy & distracting.

Sweet and Relaxing

A very easy listen, this book was one to listen to while relaxing and laying in the sun. The narrator had a fabulous Irish accent but did not distinguish her voice between characters, even the men had the same pitch as the women.

Great story

Great story but it ends too quickly. The story isn't finished for everyone. I still like the story a lot.

Ireland revisited

I had read this years ago when it was first released. It was a joy to revisit with the audio version. The narrator's use of local brogue added to Nora Roberts great characters.

took me forever

I enjoy the story but wow its all about the narration. the speaker was crisp, unemotional and to monotone. I often wondered if it was her first book.
