Yivi Ward's world has been transformed in a couple of days; she doesn't know what is going on anymore. Her first ever drink of alcohol has left her married to a famous rockstar whose music she's never even heard. But the real problem is the dark secret she’s been keeping buried. She knows she should come clean but fears her new husband would never understand. She should run before its’s too late, but something about him is making her stay. Will Liam Romero be her salvation or her downfall?

Liam and Yivi are two strangers trying to work out a marriage neither one had planned. But will Yivi's past catch up with them and destroy any hope they have of a future together?

Great Accidental Marriage Romance

This is the second book in the Saving Tate Series, a Rockstar Romance. This is a series of interconnected standalone stories. This is a great addition to the series. Liam and Yivi's story is beautifully written, filled with secrets, danger, and twists and turns. Liam is handsome, and very protective. Yivi is beautiful, and strong. I loved to see again the characters from the first book in the series. This is a great accidental marriage romance. Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Bass, the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

Rockstars and a cult escapee? Yes, please!

I came into this series late, on this second installment but didn’t feel lost so if you missed book 1, don’t let that stop you. The female lead had escaped from a cult and IT WAS SO FUN and overall well done as far as plausibility and how I think continuity would work in this sort of situation. It made things incredibly interesting and added an element of danger that kept me hooked.

🎤 Rockstars.
🕍 Vegas.
🎤 Danger.
🕍 Cult escapee.
🎤 Life on the road … and on the run.
🕍 V!rginal heroine … also very innocent, naive at times, but still brilliant and perceptive.
🎤 Confrontations.
🕍 Extortion.
🎤 Fresh start at life (for female lead).
🕍 Strong familial ties (with bandmates and actual family).

Overall:
A fun, fast-paced read. Would absolutely read more from this author and in this series.
4 stars.

Audio:
🦩 Both narrators were flawless with smooth voices and epic performances. Overall sound quality is perfect. 5 stars.

I LOVE this series!

Liam and Yivi's chance encounter, a few drinks and the next morning they wake up as husband and wife. Once Liam finds out the truth about her past and what she's running from, he'll do anything to keep her safe. Along the way, their fake marriage becomes real and for once, Yivi finally feels what real love is all about. When her past finally catches up to her, will Liam and Yivi lose what they've build or will she have the strength to stand up for what she wants...a happily ever after with her new husband.

I love all the characters in this series and can't wait for the remaining band mates' stories. Outstanding narration by Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner.

Excellent Story & Listen🎧Captivating & Heartfelt

I am loving Anna Edwards’ “Saving Tate” series, the characters and storylines are not only amazing, but they are original too. This second book brings us Liam Romero’s story and what a story it is. Liam is the band drummer and, after partying too much while in Vegas, he wakes up with a wife, one he has no memory of, the wedding or the woman. Ward was supposed to be married, to a man she did not know, an arranged marriage, but she fled before the ceremony took place. So it was ironic that she woke up married to a man who was a stranger to her, despite the circumstances being so different. Yivi fled the only world she knew, and everything was new to her, including alcohol, so it only took a little to get her drunk. Neither she nor Liam remember their wedding night, but he handles the morning after well. He knew she was no ordinary groupie, actually not a groupie at all, and the rest of the band picked up on that too. And after hearing some of her story, they agreed it would be best for her to hold off on an annulment and stay together for a year. Everyone was on board with that, and she would assist Zoey while they were touring with the band. I loved the camaraderie amongst the band members and Zoey, with Yivi fitting right in with them all. It was great to watch Liam and Livi get to know each other and deepen their bond and relationship even more. I thought they were fabulous together and for each other. I loved all the layers of this story and how everything played out, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. This book captivated my attention from start to end, it is entertaining and has plenty of drama, a touch of angst, some charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful romance. Anna Edwards, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧  Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner did a fabulous job bringing these characters to life, giving each their own voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. Their portrayal of the characters was spot on and they were believable in every role they played. Walker rocked as Liam, grasping all aspects of his personality, from his caring and patient side to his hot-headedness. Turner played Yivi’s role with perfection, grasping her naivety and insecurities and grew as she did. Both were equally amazing covering the roles of the rest of the bandmates, Zoey and the other secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration elevated this already fantastic story to another level. Anna Edwards, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Very interesting listen with an unique twist....

A very interesting listen with an unique twist on the whole drunken marriage in Vegas story. The drummer and the...well guess I'd be spoiling it since that isn't in the blurb! But the seemingly disastrous mistake may be fate after all. I loved how protective the band members are, not only of each other but also Yivi when they discover her past that she's running from. Funny banter and truthful call outs, the band is a family and includes Yivi wholeheartedly, allowing her to find her true home and forever love. Now, I could have done without the hastags...I'm too old for that mess I guess haha, but at least it was only at the beginning of every chapter. Narrators did a good job bringing the characters to life.

3.5 Stars Overall

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Anna Edwards. I have enjoyed the "rescue from a cult" storyline in the past so looked forward to listening. It's definitely on the shorter side and felt a bit rushed. Yivi knew about adrenaline, but not about more simple things. Her actions just didn't often fit how I'd envisioned. It felt like the author was making her past life experiences worse as the story went foreward, which in turn made her actions more confusing. Liam and Yivi had an insta-love romance that had a great HEA. I think if this could be expanded, it'd be excellent.

Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner are excellent narrators. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances. Love their voices!

Book 2 - can be standalone

This is book 2 in Edwards' Saving Tate series and can be easily listened to as a standalone. Our focus on this book is band mate and drummer Liam and the woman he falls hard and fast for Yivi. Btw, I love this name - so unique. Dual narration by Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner was wonderfully done and brought these characters to life. While the drunken married in Vegas storyline has been done before, this is unique in Yivi's background which I actually really enjoyed. I loved her character growth and corruption and I so enjoyed that while Liam is indeed a rockstar, he's a great guy from start to finish with the biggest heart when it comes to the people he cares about. While I thought this was a shorter listen, I thought it had all the content of sweet and steamy romance as well as some danger and action too. I adore the bands banter and the chapter titles. Overall, a really good listen and I'm looking forward to who in this band of brothers will be falling next!

Cult of Personality

Harmony "Yivi" Ward and Liam Romero may start out as strangers strung together by a drunken trip down the aisle, but I love how Liam and the rest of the band handle it. My heart went out to her as she was thrust into a world outside the compound she grew up in.

I love the support that comes from this found family as they're thrown some curve balls. And I love how they all help Yivi adjust to this new, modern world, encouraging her to get her GED and discover the world.

This story is really terrific. I love their group conversations. Then there's chemistry that explodes. 💣🔥💥🎉 It's hot! And that business at the very end? Color me intrigued!

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are new to me, I think. Bryant Walker and Isabelle Turner are both easy to listen to, and I really like them.
