yet again just awesome

mark I can't say it enough, I love your stories an the way you pull a person into the stories. even my 2nd best author Raymond E Fiest doesn't pull you into the stories as you do . maybe it's because I grew up a closet bisexual male in the 50's 60's 70's an 80's. I'm an old man now alone an feeling unwanted an am going through health an legal problems, but your stories have taken me back to a time in my life I wish I could relive. an through your stories I have. most have really hit close to home on me so much so I cry an then get excited an feel the love of my boyfriend back then. I just wish you would be honored to write my story an tell it like only you know how

Coming of Age Exhibited Extraordinary Well in this Mark Roeder Novel

I’m quite fond of Mark A. Roeder’s novels, and have listened to at least a dozen here on Audible. While the narrator from book to book is rarely the same, the quality writing is evident throughout.

In “Beautiful”, you have a story that incurs a kind of tragedy, which the character and his friends and family learn to deal and cope with. The characters have personality, and of course there’s a bit of promiscuousness as there always is with Mark Roeder’s books.

For me, the coolest part of this particular Audible production was the use of actual classical music audio samples! We heard “Claire de Lune” by Debussy, “Nocturne in E-Flat” by Chopin, among many others that were incorporated into the storyline; it was a very cool addition that helps to introduce a very important character later on in the book.

Like many great books, you get conflict, trial and strife, heartbreak, romance, and tragedy. I encourage any young person to young adult, whether they’re LGBT, an ally, or just enjoys a good read/listen.
