About this listen

Tyler and Tanner are identical twins and best buddies, but their relationship is about to be transformed forever. Tyler grows increasingly uncomfortable with the rumors that haunt him and his brother, but Tanner doesn't want their relationship to change. Wanted or not, change comes. Tyler falls for Charlie, the new boy in town, and Tanner reaches out to help his teammate, Iggy, who is crippled in an accident and confined to a wheelchair. As Tyler and Charlie grow closer, Tanner grabs onto the small ray of hope that Iggy may someday walk again and pushes Iggy to make it happen. Just when he feels he's losing his brother, Tanner begins to develop feelings for Iggy that he never thought he could feel for anyone…except his twin.

The Nudo Twins is the story of an unconventional relationship and the ability of love to adapt to almost any situation.

Good read.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would, but I would caution about the controversial elements the book touches base on.

What other book might you compare The Nudo Twins to and why?

I would say Aaron by J.P Barnaby. Only because the books really both touch base on such topics not normally discussed in proper conversation.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think when one of the twins told their lover what they had done in the past and the other twin was willing to stand by his brother no matter what the outcome. True brotherly love was expressed in that scene.

If you could rename The Nudo Twins, what would you call it?

I am not sure but maybe "Brothers Entanglement"

Any additional comments?

Good read, just please have an open mind and it will be a great book for anyone to pick up or buy.

Outstanding story!

Now, some of you think that a t incest is disgusting and wrong. But in this book, this was the only thing these two boys knew. They thought of making love to one another was normal, and every sibling did it. But, these boys were naive and didn't know any better. Aside from that, the story is well written, and the narrative is simply awesome. And I hope Mark writes a follow-up book about the Nudo Twins soon?

Very Interesting, a Little Uncomfortable

Would you be willing to try another book from Mark Roeder? Why or why not?

I have listened to all of his Audible books. I will continue to listen to them. He writes about subjects that I like to read about. His writing brings me back to younger days when I was struggling with coming out. It's interesting to see how all of the characters in his books (all that I've read/listened to) are either pure good or pure evil.... Not much middle ground, which you would think is a negative, but he puts a lot of faith in friends taking up for each other which is kind of a nice change.

Any additional comments?

Some of the subject matter in this book is difficult to listen to, but if you can put it behind you, it's an enjoyable book.

Poorly written

I was prepared for the subject matter--the details of the relationship between the brothers. But the story, in the first half, was somewhat predictable and I anticipated where it was headed. So much so that I stopped listening. The big secret gets referenced early on and is later revealed in one graphic scene, but is again referred to as if the reader doesn't know what's going on. And discussion about the feelings between the brothers is repeated many, many times. Unfortunately, there is little creativity here.
