Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Great Bedtime Stories for Every Child
My grandchildren and I loved reading this book! It has become a normal part of our bedtime routine, with the kids requesting specific stories again and again.
These stories develop naturally, and their therapeutic design doesn't interrupt good storytelling. My granddaughter was prone to night terrors for years, and she has no idea that these stories are what helped her turn a corner! We read two or three each night with the kids after tooth brushing, and then go tuck them in. So far, no night terrors!
My grandson likes the stories as much as she does, and honestly, I prefer these to another book about TV characters. Try these stories! You and your kids will appreciate it!

Bedtime routine
This book is such a comforting listen before bedtime. The tales featuring dinosaurs, princesses, astronauts, and ballerinas were like little guides on how to relax and boost self-esteem. Discovering techniques such as belly breathing and speaking kindly to yourself is a great help to combat anxiety. The sections on gratitude and resilience encouraged me to see the silver lining more often, reminding me that there's always something small to appreciate. The book will give you the feelings of safety, courage, and readiness to tackle whatever comes your way. I'm definitely going to make listening to these stories a nightly ritual. Its a great listen to have a good vibes and sweet dreams.

Delightful bedtime stories for kids
Lovely, well-conceived stories to help your kids with anxiety and improve self-confidence and courage. Calmly delivered with engaging characters and the length of each story is perfect for bedtime. A lot of the characters would appeal more to girls than boys.

Sweet Stories for Sleepytime!
My favorite story in this fantastic collection was the one about Jack and Sarah, who were complaining about how bored they were. Their wise mom challenged them to a gratitude scavenger hunt and throughout the story, they learned the mystery of gratitude, appreciating the small things and simple but delightful moments. Children (and maybe even grownups!) will learn positive character qualities through this and each of the stories in this book, perfect to listen to at bedtime. The narrator’s voice is perfect, and really brings the characters to life.
