The sequel to Paullina Simons’ thrilling Children of Liberty, Bellagrand delves into Harry and Gina’s lives prior to the opening of Simons' The Bronze Horseman.

As Children of Liberty concludes with a stunning ending - the story is just beginning. Bellagrand follows Harry and Gina after the happily ever after.

Omg!! Paulina Simons can write!!
I mean I loved The Bronze Horseman, I was skeptical about a sequel, then I was a bit let down by the finale, and fully apprehensive about a prequel. And then here comes this.

She has this uncanny way of writing characters that you don’t just identify with, you SEE them. Vividly! They become your cousin, your uncle, your father, your ex, that narcissist you went on one disastrous date with. It’s unreal how she puts you inside the world of her books. I love it. Absolutely love it.
This is why I read.

Yo! This book, you guys it answered every question I ever had about why Alexander is Alexander. I had to keep putting it down just to process. I’d find myself whispering, “Ohhh… that’s why he’s like that. Got it.”

You’re gonna love to hate Esther and her brother. They’re the kind of villains who don’t even realize they’re villains, which makes them perfect. Gina Gina Gina is that girl. The one who makes you want to be like “Girl get your life together. You know you are to good for this”

I honestly can’t say enough good things about how well this was written. I’m SO glad it’s not a TV series or a movie. This way it can live in my imagination exactly the way I build it. Beautifully.

A story that could've ended well, but absolutely did not. One of the main characters is just so selfish he drags his whole family into disaster.

A good story.
