Tommy Morgan's life was turned upside down at the hands of his Alpha. Now, another one is claiming to be his mate. He's not ready to jump into a relationship with anyone, still suffering from nightmares due to the abuse he experienced. Instead, Tommy moves in with his brother, Declan, hoping for the space he needs to heal.
Pennaeth Alpha Benjamin Taylor has his hands full dealing with all the packs across Australia. When he finds his young mate battered and bloody, he knows Tommy is going to need time to recover and come to terms with everything. Ben is more than willing to give his mate anything he needs. Even if that means them living apart for now.
When passion finally ignites with unexpected consequences, Ben knows he'll do anything, fight anyone, to keep his mate safe.

Even the Mpreg is predictable.
The entire plot has some major holes in it, and the subplot only introduces more holes into it.
In all, not a bad book, quick, mindless fun, but not something you'd recommend to somebody who doesn't like the genre.
The Narrator spoke quickly, not poorly. You could tell that he was an excellent narrator, but I probably would have enjoyed it a lot more if he had slowed down just a touch.

Would you consider the audio edition of Ben to be better than the print version?
Haven't read it so I can't say, what I can say is I'm loving listening to these stories, Nick Flint is doing an amazing job bringing the characters to life. What other book might you compare Ben to and why?
The first book in this series. Same Pack, characters and narrator.Have you listened to any of Nick Flint’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, and this one was just as good. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was and I did!Any additional comments?
This book was a bit more intense than the first in the series. I liked the threat, though when it was finally dealt with, I thought it was a touch anti-climactic. I LOVED the way Ben was so gentle, a gentle giant really, with his mate... waiting until he was ready to complete their bond. So patient and yet, kind, loving and gentle with Tommy who has been through so much. One thing that bugged me, every time Ben said it I cringed a little, when he calls Tommy "Pup" still, I cannot wait to listen to the next book, Corey.Big Ben finds his Mate!
