Ben Hur could be said to be the first American blockbuster. When it was published in 1880, it sold over two-million copies and was translated into numerous languages. I have to confess I struggled reading Ben Hur so I decided to give the audible book a try. So glad I did! The narrator made it come alive! 10 on the scale!
