About this listen
BOOKS 16-18 OF BEYOND THESE WALLS:
They think they're safe.
They're not—Olga and her friends are secure in a tower block control room, but there are diseased everywhere. Not only will they have to work their way through the blocks to regain control, but they have a human-sized rat by the name of Duncan who needs to be made to pay for his betrayal.
Joni and the others are secure in the guard's block, but they're a long way from gaining control of the entire building, not to mention helping those guards who want to leave, reach the south gates.
While both groups are safe for now, they have a lot of work ahead. And when they have diseased, angry prisoners, displaced residents, and a human-sized rat to manage, a lot can go wrong Beyond These Walls: Books sixteen to eighteen box set is a fast-paced post-apocalyptic survival thriller.
This box set includes:
Blackout—Book sixteen of Beyond These Walls.
An Interesting Alliance—Book seventeen of Beyond These Walls.
Revolution—Book eighteen of Beyond These Walls.

so boring
the narrator is terrible. No emotion. The story just drags on and on and on and on and on and on and on....and on. I have listened to over 300 books on audible. This by far was the hardest book to finish out of any other book I have ever listened too.

We get it!
A decent continuation of the story, but hearing "Harry as in Harriet" every single time her character is in the story is maddening. We got it... Harriet goes by Harry. Tell us once, maybe remind us occasionally, but hearing "Harry as in Harriet" sometimes 4 times in a minute?!? I find myself hoping she meets an untimely demise. It's almost enough to make me stop listening to the prison chapters.
I'm still struggling with the voices as well, they just aren't as well done with this narrator as in the first several book sets in the series.
If I wasn't determined to listen to the end, or if this was the first of the series instead of the l last, I wouldn't continue after this set.
the disappointment is real.
