About this listen

Breaking point. Everyone has one. For Dr. Cassidy Brannon it was discovering her husband Phillip in a compromising position with his best friend Max’s almost fiancée Amber while vacationing with the other couple.

Angry and heartbroken, she and Max indulge in a night of drunken, vindictive sex. The next day, Cassidy returns home with one goal in mind: divorce. However, nothing goes as planned.

Phillip, hell-bent on fixing their marriage, won’t agree to a divorce. What was only meant to be one, never to be spoken of again night with Max is evolving into something much more complicated. Then, Cassidy discovers she’s pregnant.

With both Max and Phillip adamantly claiming to be the father, how much more can Cassidy take before she’s pushed beyond the breaking point?

The narrators were did a great job and I enjoyed the integrated male and female narrations throughout the book instead of female read chapters and male read chapters. The story is really good.

so many emotions

Loved this book I wish that the second book was also on Audible, I'll have to download the ebook to finish this story.

This story grabbed me from beginning til the end. I was mad as hell when the end came because its not done! Audible moved too slow and now I have to switch to kindle to read the next book. Phil with his "special " self is something else. This joker apparently felt like he can do what he want, carve a path of destruction and hurt then he's supposed to be forgiven. I can't wait to jump into the next book. The narration was good, thank you cause it bugs me when the wrong narrator mess up someone's work. I enjoyed the cast of characters although the friend seems to be a bit much. I thought the Question was a great book and she has turned out another jem with this book.

Brava!

I can't believe that the book ended on the note that it did. If your like me, I read to get away from reality not to experience real life. If I wanted all that, I would just turn on my TV. It doesn't even tell about the second book. What a disappointment.

Disappointed ending

I purchased the audible because I thought it would contain both books. i purchased the kindle book series and both books were in 1 set.

really enjoyed the book, and the shades of gray it plays with

can we talk about Cassidy pride issues. if she would have talk to Max, they could have talked through some of the issues, and strategized and planned for others. the situation did have to get as bad as it did and they could have monkey stumped Phillip.

where is the second book??

Cassidy has victim syndrome; what does she expect when she withholds information. And can anybody say don’t get married in Pennsylvania! The storyline was confusing to me. Too many secrets. The only victim in my opinion was Max. Narrators did a good job.

Always the Victim

I bought this thinking it was Black women led, and it’s clearly not. There is NOT one indication of this being a Black main character and the romance part took too long and was clearly lacking. So much time spent on minute details that which left the story feeling really drawn out. I didn’t finish and really hope I can get my credit back. What a waste of 4 hours.

The longest story ever
