Spring is in the air and with the warm weather comes an abundance of babies; human and otherwise. Could the Easter Bunny be involved with Murder?

Easter is near and in Ashton Falls, that is good reason to celebrate. It also seems to be a time when rabbits multiply and need new homes. Since Zoe runs an animal rescue, she is discovering bunnies in all areas of her life.
I enjoyed getting to know Zoe Donovan and her circle of friends. Some have messy relationship pasts and unclear future paths, but with good friends to support you, the bumps in the road are survivable. Even Zoe's parents are involved in the complications.
The victim Zoe stumbles upon is not a well liked business person. Figuring out motive and opportunity is tricky.
The story is well written, a nice combination of suspense, humor, mystery to solve, and characters with singular traits. Just as we are getting to know them, they are also finding their balance as coworkers.
Family and friendship are strong themes.
We also discover that being of financial wealth has both pros and cons.
