pronunciation

I enjoyed the rendition so far and appreciated the voice acting, it was very well done.
However the pronunciation was off ever so slightly.
Promachia as I know it is pronounced Pro-mak-ia, instead of Pro-ma-chia, and Pro-mak-os instead of Pro-ma-chos. I wish they would have kept Simon Vance's pronunciations in the production.
Very small issue and it may just be me thats either understanding it wrong or looking at it in that light.

Nor as good as I was hoping...

It's possible my dislike is because I've already heard this book in the non Graphic Audio version, and hearing the voice of Rogier from the Demon Cycle as Kip tossed me but I feel like this run just didn't hold up to Simon Vance. The way Vance portrays the cocky condescension of Gavin and the heart breaking self loathing of Kip just couldn't be topped by the Graphic Audio crew, sorry guys. If your looking for a good weird Graphic Audio, check out the Golgotha series as its fantastic. If your looking for the Lightbringer series, stick to Simon.

the music can overpower the dialog sometimes

I love the story, however the sound engineer didn't balance out the music and sound effects with the dialog very well. Sometimes I couldn't, or struggled to, hear the narrative.

Chill on the SFX

Good story overall, good performance.
But maybe avoid having the sounds of pigs squealing be louder than the narrator for an entire chapter…

the damn music

lower the volume of the music and tell the narrator to slow tf down. the music is constantly blasting and the narrator is speed reading through one of my favorite stories.
