Publisher's summary

A shocking crime spree sweeps the city with a steady stream of bodies turning up and no answers in sight. Missing limbs and, sometimes, only a few bones bring mass hysteria to the otherwise quiet metropolis.

Liam and his partner are handed the task of solving the gruesome murders that have been wreaking havoc upon the citizens. What they don’t know is the force of reckoning they are about to face - something biblical that neither of them have encountered before.

As the demons rise, will the city fall? Find out in Blood Rain, a stand-alone thriller written by James Keith.

One Hell of a Tale

Summoning the Devil for shit's and giggles may sound like a good idea but one tribesman found out the hard way that it wasn't. Liam has discovered that demons and Satan himself are behind the bodies that are piling up in his city after fellow police officers are killed working the case. Liam's partner Sam has paid the price when they were assigned to the case now he is on a mission to stop Hell on Earth from taking place. The book is descriptive and creative with a little humor thrown in here and there. If you enjoy horror with a twist this book is definitely for you and I highly recommend it. This is my honest unbiased review.

Note to self: don't summon Satan on a whim

I listened to Blood Rain as a departure from my usual sci-fi genre. This murder mystery thriller kept the plot moving, with character development and plot twists. I listen to audiobooks on my commute and sometimes background noise can be bothersome. Kudos to the narrator, Jason Markiewitz, for having such a clear voice that neither construction, motorcycles, or demons from hell could get in the way of my listening!

Blood, Gore, and Satan!

This is an interesting book that involves crime sprees, two detectives, and Satan! Bent on solving murders of the most detectable kind with spare body parts lying around and other gore, a pair of detectives try to bring about justice and put an end to the spree. Little did they know what they were going up against!
James Keith, the Author, details a thrilling story of death, mystery, and a little bit of faith. Keith weaves a magical story of demons and death with detail and a vivid imagination that keeps the listener spellbound. Character development, as well as plot development, was solid and the plot twists were well executed.
The narrator, Jason Markiewitz, adds to the story with his skilled and talented voice acting. Each character had a unique voice and reflected the personality developed by the author. He provides the listener with the right amount of inflection of emotion and his cadence is consistent and helps to keep the listener on the edge of their chair.
This is one of those rare books where one’s imagination is challenged to keep up!
There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.
