About this listen

From the masters of American frontier storytelling, another chapter in the Buckhorn saga — a blood-pounding tale of one man’s sacred mission to bring justice to the American west, the only way he knows how....

In all the horrific corners of the Civil War, there was no hell worse than Andersonville, the Confederate prison camp. Less infamous but equally inhumane was a Yankee prison camp run by General Thomas Wainwright. In the war’s aftermath, a survivor of Wainwright’s cruelty summons Joe Buckhorn to New Orleans, and asks the gunslinger to kill the general — not simply for revenge, but to stop another atrocity.

Wainwright has seized control of Wagontongue, a township on the edge of the Arizona desert, and he rules it as brutally as he once ran the prison for Rebel POWs. With an iron grip on the town’s only source of water, he keeps the locals cowering under his cruel heel. Buckhorn rides on Wagontongue to overthrow the merciless despot, and finds that Wainwright has plans for a bloody revolution, which Buckhorn will shoot through Hell and back to stop....

Performed by Ken Jackson, Tony Nam, David Harris, Matthew McGee, Laura C Harris, Jonathan Watkins, Chris Genebach, Evan Casey, Yesenia Iglesias, Dylan Lynch, Todd Scofield, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Alejandro Ruiz, Chris Davenport, Nick DePinto, Michael John Casey, Jonathan Feuer, Christopher Graybill, Catherine Aselford, Terence Aselford, Marty Lodge, Bradley Smith, Richard Rohan, Bruce Alan Rauscher, Nanette Savard, Colleen Delany, Mort Shelby.

BLOOD THIRSTY

This is another great adventure in the life of Joe Buckhorn. Buckhorn puts me in mind of Yakima Henry. I would love to see them together in a book. Buckhorn rides into town and get in a war with Wainwrite. Wainwrite wants to control the town. I like a book like this when one rich rancher trys to own or control the Town and one person takes him down. Like a Jess Williams book. Buckhorn has to save the town. All three books so far about Buckhorn has been good. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below.
