About this listen

Where there’s fire, there’s smoke.

Smoke Jensen has journeyed up to the Colorado Rockies to a sell a prized bull to a local rancher. Instead, the rancher and his wife have been mercilessly slaughtered by outlaws only moments before Smoke’s arrival. In a hail of bullets, Smoke pulverizes two of the murderers and drags two others to the town of Brown Spur for justice. Come hanging day, the two killers are on the way to the gallows when a thundering gang of raiders crashes into town and rescues them from the jaws of death. When the bloody onslaught is over, dead bodies litter the streets, and Smoke Jensen is a man on a mission.

Calling themselves the Ghost Riders, a savage gang of outlaws has stealthily moved in from Wyoming Territory. Smoke now has a personal motive for going up against the Ghost Riders. No matter how many they are, no matter how many guns they have, he’ll hunt them down — one killer at a time....

Cow hands shouldn't fall in love

Another story where the unlucky cowboy falls in love only get his heart torn in two by the writer. Good book up to the ending. Myself, I would have preferred a much more suitable ending.

Good story

Didn’t really like the actor’s of smoke and his wife. They brought a different voice to what I’m not use to this time around. Overall great story.

SMOKE (BLOODSHED OF THE MOUNTAIN MAN

This is another good adventure in the life of Smoke. In this book Cal gets shot. He's in critical condition. Shooting one of Smoke's friends as good as Cal is is a big mistake. Smoke takes Pearly and goes after them the (Ghost riders) is the name of there gang. There is around two dozen of them and they love killing people. Smoke and Pearly going after them makes this one of the best books in this series. A lot of action and a good story line. I give this one five stars. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
