About this listen

The Preppers were right. And the time is now.

The Blue Plague came roaring out of the Congo and into the United States - and it can’t be stopped. The Infected become violently insane and impossibly strong. They’re not zombies - no, that would be too easy - they’re something much worse.

The Infected are violent and unstoppable, but they can think. They can heal from most wounds. And worst of all - they can reproduce.

Bruce, Debbie, Mike and Nancy have been preparing for the worst for years. There’s nothing to do but bug out - and they know exactly where to go. But on the arduous journey to reach the sanctuary of their farm, they confront thousands of The Infected. Along the way they make some invaluable new friends, and together, the emboldened troop kicks the hell out of the Infected - and the equally dangerous marauders who are willing to murder anyone in their way.

Join Bruce, Mike, and their newfound friends as they battle their way across Infected Louisiana, thwarting every foe imaginable in order to reach the sanctuary of their farm.

Blue Plague Book One: The Fall is a survivalist adventure filled with courage and betrayal, tragedy and hope.

Top 5 of my favorite series

This is truly one of my favorites, the narrator has captured the characters so well, now I can’t wait to do this again with the new read. Characters come to life, and I may or may not have shed a few tears. Well done

Happy fan

This has been long in coming. I listen to the other version and wanted to cry. Insult to the story that narration was. Steps in Eric A. Sherman the voice! A genius narrator, who truly brought the story that has long been a favorite to life. So can't wait for the next in line.

Intense Story telling

The way this author describes how the evil out there is waiting for a chance to pounce on the weak and helpless. The way he let's the main characters unleash justice as they see fit gets me yelling hell yeah that's what I'd do that being said this book is not for the faint of heart but amazing story telling highly recommend for apocalypse and prepper lovers alike!

Not a bad story

it's not bad at some points it's a little long winded.
Blue Plague has some laughs and some parts that might just piss you off, And a strong hit at a super hero character.

Over all a good story.

amazing , I love the humor. I wish this was a movie, but a movie that includes everything from the book the way it was written. I hope you truly find a director willing. We need a movie like this. I cant wait to read the other books. Damn I hope they make it

Great zombie thriller!

The narration was incredible! I read to get to sleep at night. There was no sleeping with this book. I was wide awake and into the action. I will not only look for more from Thomas Watson but I will look for narration by Eric Shelman.

4.5 overall? Hell yes! Neg reviews are snowflakes

I absolutely love Mr. Watsons work and Blue Plague is so far one of the best ZA series out there! Look at the average review number. It’s 4.5 out of 5 and that’s high! His next books get even better. The negative reviews are too uptight. If you want a serious ZA then go elsewhere this is not for you.

I listen to about a book a day and have covered almost every ZA author on Audible and this is tied at one with only one other author/narrator combo. That other combo (ok it’s Arisen), however is a completely different style, the two can't really compare and I love them both. With that said, yes, Mr. Watsons humor is sometimes that of a 12 yo boy and makes the eye rolls start to hurt at times, but he kills it throughout the entire book with the action and detail of a non stop thrill ride. His message of family first is strong and often hilarious too. To all the uptight snowflakes out there... Loosen up that pucker and just enjoy the ride! It’s a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! Stop being so serious!! Im a married mom of 3 kids (who are in their 20's), I have 2 bachelor degrees and I find all the silly humor some have written negatively about, some of the funniest LOL worthy humor I've ever come across. TLDR: Im smart and wise and find this series worth every penny.

The incomparable Eric A Shelman (whose own ZA books are incredible!) brings each character to life and makes differentiating those characters by voice as easy as can be. He nails the humor with just the right tone and inflection. The perfect author/narrator combo! The only negative I have is HAVING TO WAIT FOR MORE! I'm finished with book 4 and check Audible daily for the rest of the series. Soon please!
