Love it!

Loved the story line. I especially loved how loved changed the views of individuals and how it opened them up to see one another despite their skin tone.

Engaging and realistic!

The author shared a story that many of us can relate to. You would have had to lived in a bubble to say the concept addressed in this book never touched your life - in some way.

Bravo to the author for the courage to address what so many of us pretend does not exist. Thank you, your work is challenging and greatly needed for such a time as this!

Good

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It was a sweet book instead of sizzling like the category suggested. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I do however thing that the problem with interracial relationships was a bit out of touch with 2017. Maybe the 1920-1950s it was like that, but not so much now . I think the author was off with that.

Great reality of what people think

Met expectations. It's real for many. Helps to challenge one's thinking and biases.

Thanks for making this easy to follow.

It was “real”!

It was both cringe worthy and revealing. At times I didn’t wanna listen anymore, but I felt compelled to hear it out. I really enjoyed it and found it difficult to stop listening. I plan to listen again.

Introspective

What surprised me most about this story is that it caused me to think about some issues that we face every day. It challenged some long held beliefs, and really pushed me to think about how I feel and how those feelings measure up to God’s word and standard for my life.
