I love this book so much! I wish it was longer! It was so good I went and bought the paperback! I normally don't do audio books, i prefer reading them. I tried it and cancelled right after, but i still had 3 free credits, so I decided to use them to pass the time at work, and this was one of the books I picked. I am so glad that I did.

The story was cute. I only had a few problem with it. For one they described the main character as being walnut colored but the women on the intro is a beautiful cedar color. They also mentioned that she had long "real hair" not a weave like it is something many black women have. The last thing would be that the women was fast to become intimate with the man. All three are stereotypes that continues to pop up in media, books, etc. I like interracial romance books because its beautiful to see that black women ARE desirable. Our society still portrays Black women in an unfavorable light and its disheartening being A proud Black/Hispanic women who does not fit those stereotypes at all.

Another cute story

I wanted to like this story a lot more but it felt rushed. Too many unanswered questions.
Jax and his family issues, mainly his brother.
Josey and her family issues, mainly her sister .
The characters themselves were ok but I think Jax moved so fast.
Still I’m a sucker for a happily ever after.
The narration was ok but I think if it had been a duet it could have enhanced the story a lot.

Just ok
