Publisher's summary

It's all paws on deck as a librarian and her rescue cat track down a killer in the newest book in the nationally best-selling Bookmobile Cat Mystery series.

Minnie Hamilton and her rescue cat, Eddie, cruise around lovely Chilson, Michigan, delivering happiness and good reads in their bookmobile. But the feisty librarian is worried that the bookmobile's future could be uncertain when a new library board chair arrives and doesn't seem too friendly to her pet project.

Still, she has to put her personal worries aside when she and Eddie are out on their regular route and one of their favorite customers doesn't turn up to collect her books. Minnie, at Eddie's prodding, checks on the woman and finds her lying dead in her snow-covered driveway. Now it's up to Minnie and her friends - feline and otherwise - to find the perpetrator and give them their due.

TO COLD TO HANDLE !

I listed to the first six books. Most were believable . Sorry to say, this one was a fairy tail in reference to Minnie's
capture in the snow. She is old enough to understand what the cold temperatures can do. Especially people
unaccustomed to freezing temperatures without cloths protection. Loved the last of everything, Mitchell, Aunts
wedding changes. Best of all.. The changes to the Library and Bookmobile! HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Love these guys!

The thing I like best about a series is that you really get to know the people! I love Minnie and her cat and the way she found her love. I hope the author continues to write about the new ‘team’ of investigators!

A bookmobile mystery

I truly love this series. with Minnie, the librarian and her faithful cat, Eddie. Of course we have another murder that Minnie and Eddie get involved in. In the meantime the library has a new director and a new Library Board President. They are everywhere, asking staff questions, looking over the building, which makes the staff very nervous. Minnie has aot on her plate this time.

MINNIE & EDDIE— TWO OF MY FAVORITE CRIME SOLVERS

I love these books by Laurie Cass. Minnie is a sweet and caring character — someone everyone can relate too. She is full of insecurities and self-doubt at times, yet at other times (especially when her temper is up), she is all determination and strength. I often get a visual of a mighty Minnie Mouse in my mind, because Minnie the mild-mannered librarian tops out at 5’0” IF she stands up straight! The fact that she’s short and people often under-estimate her is one of the things that really irks her.

Minnie has a nose for murder, and once her curiosity is piqued, she won’t stop until she figures the mystery of who did it! She seems to manage to get herself into all kinds of situations along the way.

Her sidekick is her faithful rescue cat, Eddie. Eddie seems to understand most of what Minnie says (and Minnie talks to him a lot). Being the owner of six rescue cats myself, I completely understand that Eddie has to have the final word in EVERYTHING! I also understand his prolific shedding and Minnie’s frustration with it.

I love the recurring characters that Minnie runs into around town. It makes one feel as though they are right at home there in Chilson, MI. (although I could never make it through one of their winters)!

I found this to be a thoroughly enjoyable (and easy) read. I can’t wait to start the next one!

Great Story

I enjoyed this story very much. Ms. Cass it crafty, compassionate, clever, cheery, charming and more than a little crazy. We share a love of kitties and Eddie reminds me of some of my many rescues over the years. I also love references to so many places in Michigan, which reminds me of the beautiful place I called home for 4 years. Well done!
