Great short story

Clara having watched Broken Amish gets upset and goes to speak to the producers. Little does she know she will be offered a job and then take it. This is a good addition to the Clara Beelers short story books. They even have LOL moments. I loved it! As for the narrator she did great as always. I truly enjoy listening to her narrate these books.

Broken Amish

I was a little disappointed with this book, as felt it didnt portray true human feelings, like the others I have read. The others had characters that became real and made you really interested in the Amish ways. The narration was good.

Broken Amish

Standing up for what she believes is right, Clara tries to influence the production of a reality show and movie. Sometimes things don’t work out as expected.

This is any entertaining little story written by Becca Fisher and narrated by Laura Madsen.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Broken Amish

Another sweet story of a young Amish girl looking for her way in life. This one involves a TV series supposedly showing true Amish life. When Clara Bieler confronts the producer about the inaccuracies in the show, he offers her a job. But, can she make a difference or is she just being used? And, will she decide to leave the Amish life or return to her roots? There is always something inspirational about these stories and this one is no exception.

The narrator does a good job and is the perfect fit for the story. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobok by the author and chose to review it.

Loved this story

Becca Fisher gave an honest glimpse into life of the Amish in this story. Her characters felt real and the plot felt like it could have happened to an Amish character living outside of her Amish culture. I loved how her main character learned a lesson in the end and it just wasn’t some happy ending. Also, the narrator was wonderful. This was my first audiobook by Becca Fisher and I look forward to many more!

Broken

This short story has a good morality check written in. I don't know if there is a second part to this audio but I'd love to listen to it.

Thanks Becca for letting me listen to this audio.

Enjoyable

Broken Amish, my 13th read from Christian author Becca Fisher. A captivating, short, 27-minute tale. This said I have to say that the author packed a lot into the pages of this Amish novelette. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Laura Madsen’s soft-spoken narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I'll be reading more from this author. Amish facts or fiction

I enjoyed listening to the story. While on Rumspringa Clara sees an episode of Broken Amish and is appalled by the way the Amish are portrayed in the show. Great characters. I would have liked it to be a bit longer.

Broken Amish

I have a hard time relating to these stories. I suppose the naivete that comes with a lifetime of simplicity surprises the main character with the general public's view of rumspringa, but after living in the English world for even a short time I don't see how it can continue to surprise her with the sensationalism that comes with reality tv. It's easy enough to see that the crazier, the better in the eyes of the public for reality tv.
