Craig is a clone killer! Each version of his brother-clone is getting smarter and more sentient. When he meets Ariel Smith, he begins to learn compassion for someone other than himself.
The young teenagers experience a world where their brother and sister clones keep them living forever. In the midst of all this, they are trying to get through high school.
Brother of the Future is a fast-paced novella about first love in a futuristic world.

This is supposed to be a teen/young adult book, but with the violence and sex it probably should have had more story line development to it as well. While the premise had potential it was held back in being fully developed.
The narration was the strongest part of the book.

The narrator is a fantastic actor. I really like him as a narrator. However, he could be much better at editing. There are a lot of mouth noises and background sounds in the recording. There are also some spots that he forgot to edit out—spots where he stops and clears his throat.
So, the redeeming quality that earns two stars is that the premise is brilliant. I actually think the author is a good writer. Hopefully she can polish her writing skills and become a great author. If so, I hope she will revisit this premise one day with, preferably with mature, adult characters.
Amazing premise. From there, it's downhill.
