About this listen

He's my professor. And I want him. Bad.

I thought my college boyfriend and I were going to be together forever. But right before our senior year starts, he decides he “wants to see what else is out there”. With a shattered heart, I retreat to a local bar to ease the pain.

Unexpectedly, though, my horrible day turns into a good one, thanks to a sweet and unbelievably hot stranger. And then, this awkwardness happens: I walk into my first day of class to find out that my new professor is the hot guy from the bar.

I try to ignore my forbidden longing for Professor Davis. But it’s useless. And I can’t drop the class - I need it to graduate. I don’t know how I’m going to survive this semester...or how much longer I can resist him.

Can't Have Him is a fun, quick romance with steam, sweetness, and a happily ever after.

This was a short listen. It was full of sexual tension. James was such a sexy professor with morals which you don't find in many stories and Olivia came across as a very mature college senior. They were in a bad situation until she was no longer his student. I really liked how things worked out for them. Of course, I am in love with Lessa Lamb's voice and she did amazing as always and J. Bourdeaux did an amazing job also!

My professor!

I can summarize this in three sentences: Girl meets boy, who turns out to be her teacher. They pretend they never met and she stays in his class. After she turns in final, they decide to date. The End.

There is no tension, no flirtation, no longing, just no chemistry. This summary is almost as long as the story. The female narrator was fine, but the male sounded like Mr. Rogers - not sexy at all.

Thankfully it was free.
