You can feel and smell the ocean.

This is a wonderful "listen" for the young and the young-at-heart. It has a captivating cast of characters extremely well acted. The added affects of dramatization with the added sounds and at times you can practically "smell" the salt water. This is a book everyone will want to listen to over and over again!

Great story horribly done

I listened to a Books on Tape production of this story years and years ago. It was wonderful. I listened to about 10 minutes of this one and that's all I could take. Worst audio book production I've heard.

probably the worst

I've listened to about 15 of the Monterey Soundworks audiobooks and this one is the worst. Bad acting, bad voice work. a poor adaptation of the story, and not worth it.
