The untimely death of St. Louis kingpin King David has left a vacuum in the underworld. He leaves behind his vast empire to his surviving heirs, David Jr. and Davita. Born barely one year apart, they were raised in very different worlds.

Is Soozy Cheyanne a Monika for Patricia R. Floyd? Or maybe she was her understudy or something. The reading is great, but that damn pauses, with the lip and tongue smacking is nauseating. I have the speed on 1.45 and I still can hear it. Annoying af!!

I'm late reading this series but this one kept me engaged the entire time. The story, the narrator's performance... really need this one continued lol.

The summary of the story says that are under a year apart in age, however the narrator says they are minutes apart. Also, the summary says they were raised differently (speaking as they had different mothers). I like the book so far but I’m a little perplexed! I guess I will continue to read 🤔
