The two are about to collide.

Caught together in the plantation house by a category four hurricane, Amanda and Jordan fight the winds and their growing love for one another, caught by a storm that seems destined to push them together...no matter the cost.

A great story to listen to while driving

The narrator, Brittany Carr, does very well in creating a soothing tone for the book. It gives the story an easy to listen to feel that makes imagining the scenes feel natural. The biggest gripe is her Middle Aged Man voice isn't as convincing as her College Coed voice, which is a very small problem to be considered the "biggest gripe"!

The story itself doesn't tread any new ground, but does make you care for the characters. Their situation is not "normal" to say the least, but it creates a teasing backdrop for the characters to develop and grow through the story.

I'll probably listen to it again when I need something soothing for the gym or similar.

Love talking about the Weather

A storm throws them together, rules tear them apart. The theme of sacrifice for the good of others is a strong current in this book. There are telling details that bring the characters to life and make them personable and easy to relate to.
The Narrator's voice is gentle and relaxing to listen to. She makes it easy to know who is speaking, and the emotion in her voice is subdued, which allows lots of room for the listener to feel for themselves.

Great for a rainy day!

A charming, wholesome romance with excellent narration. The narrator does a great job shifting smoothly between the character's voices, too. Great audiobook for a rainy day!
