About this listen

While Joe Grey has played tricks on Max Harper, Molena Point's head lawman, he's never had anything but respect for the dedicated sheriff. Now Harper's in trouble, suspected of murdering two friends, and the only witness, a young girl named Dillon, has disappeared. Both Dulcie and Joe know Harper is innocent, and Joe is hissing to prove it - and find Dillon. Their sleuthing, however, is hampered by something soft and small - their new "ward," a vivacious kitten whose curiosity could get them all killed. With backs up and claws bared, Dulcie and a spitting mad Joe must use all their cleverness and amazing talents not only to find a killer, save a little girl, and clear their friend's name - but keep their secret safe, too.

Every book in this series is whimsical but believable. I have read every book in this series and each is entertaining! The cats are so into helping their humans. Well written and believable stories.

Fun mind candy

Love the series❣ Takes you where imagination flourishes and reality is suspended for a few hours during the flight.

Really enjoyable series.

I discovered this series a couple months ago and was immediately hooked. I’ve basically binged the first 6 books and can’t wait to start the next one. This one got a bit darker than the last five, and it was nice to see it tie some stuff back into earlier ones as opposed to being more of a stand alone episode.

Honestly they’re great enjoyable little books and I’ll probably listen to all 20 or however many there are. :)

Getting there

I started this series halfway through and enjoyed it so much I went back to the beginning.
But I found the first few books not to the same standard, it's improving though

love this series

Joe Grey, the talking tomcat, is at it again, working hard to find the killer. This time the police captain is the main suspect but all his friends, human and feline, never lose their faith in him. Another excellent story and narrator for this engaging series.

Defending Max

Joe Grey has made a lot of jokes about Police Chief Max Harper, but now this is NO JOKE. Someone has framed Max for murder. And everyone knows Max is one of the good guys. Now Joe Grey, Dulcie and Kit have to prove it. Two women have been murdered, and thirteen-year-old Dillon is missing. Joe and Dulcie spend a good amount of time trying to rein Kit in, yet they are finding that despite her wild and free nature, she’s one of them, with a heart of gold. Another great addition to the series.
