About this listen

A cozy mystery featuring a kleptomaniac cat.

Beloved neighborhood cats are missing - the community can only guess at their fate - and Aunt Margaret's life is being threatened. Is it because she has a clue to the missing cats or is it something more sinister? Of course, as in all of the Klepto Cat Mysteries, Rags, an ordinary cat with a most unusual habit, has a paw in saving the day.

This book was thoroughly enjoyable - as a cat lover and mystery lover! She includes enough "real" cat items to keep a cat lover interested, and I have to say, I didn't figure out the killer until the end! I liked it enough, I have bought the second in the series - too bad it's not here on Audible!

Cat Lovers - a must read!

While it’s good to get the word out about cat rescue issues, I already knew all that. And from what I know, I will say the decision to not mention ALL the reasons cats might be stolen was a good one. Some are so awful it would be cruel to tell someone whose cat has been taken about them. Then the mystery seemed like such a small part of the whole story that I started to feel bored, & then that made me feel irritated. The cat-hoarding couple part was just dropped, the reason for the cat-napping seemed feeble, there was no followup on the truckful of horses that were taken away, no confirmation that the guy the tractor fell on was actually dead, and what was the point of bringing in a PI if the amateurs aren’t going to pass on their info to him & in fact he’s never mentioned again after the meeting where he’s introduced (oh, except once to say they’re not going to tell him anything)!

More romance than mystery
