I have mixed feelings about this book. The performance is great. These two are fantastic narrators and are always worth a listen. This book is definitely full of steam and hotness. I really like Cam. He definitely earned some major swoon points with me. I couldn't connect with Jill. At times she was so immature, naive, and whiney. I had a hard time putting them together as a couple. There is an age gap and that may be why I just couldn't connect with them as a couple. Mine is just one opinion. There are plenty of others that enjoyed this book.

Great audiobook! I really enjoyed the story and LOVED the actual performance. Savannah & Jason both did excellent with the narration. They don't just read the story, they perform it. You can feel the emotions/humor/excitement etc of what happens in every moment as easily as you would if you were watching them as scenes in movies. Jason has been one of my favorites for awhile, but Savannah is quickly becoming another favorite! They make the perfect duo. The story itself was really good, I'm growing attached to this crazy group of friends and their sweet firefighters!

This was an interesting story with a lot of intrigue and angst. There were a lot of questions about the backgrounds of both main characters for a good portion of the story, but I liked discovering what made them tick over the course of the story. The push and pull was strong between these two, but I was anxious for their HEA.

While Cam may be the hot firefighter, these characters set their own fires when they are together! They definitely have chemistry, but I also enjoyed their friendship that deepened throughout the story. I really wanted them to take the leap. There was one part of the story that I didn't care for. It was totally a matter of personal preference (and a spoiler so I won't be specific), so it may not be a problem for others.

If you read Caught in the Flames previously, you will be happy with the overlap of characters, but you will certainly be able to read this as a complete standalone.

The narration for this was really well done. I had no trouble listening from beginning to end. The tone and cadence of both narrators was great, and they brought a lot of emotion to this story. They definitely became the characters rather than just reading the story. Ms. Peachwood's male voice wasn't my favorite, but it was definitely still well done. I look forward to listening to more from both of these narrators in the future!

I read the prequel for this book “One Hot Night” and immediately was hooked on Jill and Cam’s story! I enjoyed these characters and their chemistry together. Jill is one bad ass woman and Cam, you can’t help but love him! I love the banter between Jill and Cam and how much they support each other. I was hooked from beginning to end!

Caught in the Lies is a hot, age gap romance written by Kacey Shae and narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke. The narrators did a fantastic job with this! Overall I enjoyed this book, but I struggled a bit with Jill and the storyline was a bit confusing to me at times. It was a really hot story...figuratively and literally.

This story took a minute to get into this story, it was kinda slow in the beginning. But once the story got going, I couldn't stop listening. The chemistry between Cameron and Jill is off the charts. There are secrets and some drama, but you will love the happily ever after.

I thoroughly this book! It had great characters, a good story and super hot scenes. I just wish that there had been more from Cam's POV so we could have gotten more Jason Clarke! Both characters have their secrets, hiding things from each other despite their feelings. Cam wants more, but Jill doesn't know how to break down that wall to let him fully in. This one is wonderfully performed by Savannah Peachwood and those little bits that you get from Jason Clarke leave you wanting more. Loved it.

Cam and Jill both have complicated pasts, which they hid from each other. And with good reasons. When they reveal deep secrets, the revelations strengthen their relationship. Cam is much older than Jill and has had many life experiences, but his antics make you forget his age. Their relationship shouldn't have worked, but communication was key to giving them a happily ever after.

Savannah and Jason were great narrators. They gave voice and personality to the characters. Awesome work!

I loved this emotional and sexy age gap romance. We get a glimpse of Cam & Jill in their prequel, which is free in, One Hot Night! Their connection is fiery hot, their banter is fun & flirty, but their insecurities have them hiding secrets and unwilling to share. So even though they feel perfect for each other, it's these secrets that feel more like lies that threaten to shred them to pieces. Jill's best friends, Alicia & Callie, are incredible. I love the way they tease & support each other. But ultimately it's the emotional journey that Cam & Jill endure that is so beautiful. I loved everything about this book. The writing was exceptional. And Savannah Peachwood was exceptional with her narration. I loved Jason Clarke as Cam's entries it was perfect!

This is the second book in the connected standalone stories written by Kacey Shea. This is a great age gap story (older man). Jill and Cam's story is fun, sweet, emotional, twisted, and beautiful. I loved it! Cam is a handsome firefighter, fun, bossy with a filthy mouth. He is also caring, patient, and protective. Jill is a lovely woman, fun, and strong. I love how the audiobook version brings this story to life. Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke did a great job with the narration. You don't have to read the free prequel to this story, One Hot Night, but it's free and it's a fun and sexy read before reading/listening to Caught in the Lies.
