Wonderful info - but couldn’t finish.

Information in this book is amazing but I will have to finish it by reading. This narrator drove me crazy! 95% of his phrases (not sentences!) end on a low pitch. It was SO monotonous.

Amazing!

I was looking for something good and almost passed this one up because of the two bad reviews.
Obviously, if you've heard Richard preach a series on this, the book probably won't have any new information, but that's no good reason for a bad review. And as for being "a little preachy", celebrating Jesus is right in the title of the book... what else could be expected?

I'm already reasonably educated in the feasts of the Lord, but this was very enjoyable to listen to. I especially enjoyed the expanded chapter on Hanukkah. There aren't many books I'd read (or listen) to twice, but I'm keeping this one to review every once in a while.

Get a printed copy instead

I actually thought the narrator was a text-to-voice software program. That's how robotic he sounded. The content is good, but it's hard for me not to zone out while listening to it because of how monotonous the performance is. Also, it sounded like there are some charts referenced that might be helpful to see. So, this is one I'd recommend getting a printed copy for instead.

Appreciate the Devine Symbolism

The first few chapters could have been written in more captivating style. The end of the book was delightfully captivating. I have a far better understanding and even recvieves personal revelation while listening to this book.

Definitely recommend!

We as western Christians do ourselves such a disservice by not educating in the customs of the Jewish people... I’ve been doing so for a couple of years now and this is by far one of the best overall Feasts books I’ve read. The Word of God becomes so much more alive and real once you fully understand the “whys and hows” of the Old Testament... it’s beautiful but even more so when you realize every single thing, regardless how tiny, points straight to Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach! Praise God!

Great content. Horrible delivery.

I am five chapters in to this book, and I have decided to purchase the physical book and read it. The Narrator of this audio presentation is the single worst narrator I have ever heard. Imagine the computer AI voice you often hear during social media videos, and strip away any semblance of feeling, anything remotely akin to normal speech cadence, and nearly all voice modulation, add in unnecessary pauses aplenty, and you may be close to the complete void of performance by this narrator.

very good research

AI reading was terrible. The inflection was predictable and unpleasant. Great marriage of old and new Testaments, showing the fufillment.

Disappointing

I heard the author on TV and I thought the book would be very good. It is overly elementary for me. Perhaps a new Christian would feel differently.

Also the narrator sounded robotic and stilted. I couldn't finish the book.

I believe it is important to understand the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. this book can serve as a good resource however it is a bit preachy! if you question your belief in Christ This Book may be for you.
