Very impressed with breadth

If you're interested, get the book.

The book addresses many of the major issues I have with my dogs. It helped me understand how they see my behaviors, and know how to work with them to see the behavioral changes I want. Very pleased.

Great.

Best of his books

I've read three of Cesar's books, and this is definitely my favorite and the one I will be recommending. I got the audio version and listened to it while driving and while walking my dog. Loved it.

Great read for the dog enthusiast.

I just love reading Cesar Millans books. I can see how some material may be deemed controversial but when put in context of the big picture and a true understanding that what he believes is in the best interest of the dog - it makes perfect sense. Can see changes already in our dog and his books are making an immense difference in the lives of our family and that of our new puppy.

Nicely narrated, honest and informative as Cesar Milan always seems to be. Even telling all his mistakes and downfalls. Touching!

Sensational!

There are only three books that have given me a new depth and understanding of the condition called life. This is one of them. To Ceasar, pack is family, family is pack. He makes being a dog lover meaningful, in a deeply humbling way. The raw honestly with which he writes reflects the transparency with which an animal senses where you are emotionally. Get control of your dog's, but more than that, take control of your life and the way you influence everything around you. Read this book. Thank you Ceasar, I hope someday I will shake your hand.

Grain of salt

First off, the narrator is great. By the end I was reminding myself Millan was not actually reading the book.
As for Millan's philosophy and teachings...as with everything in life, take them with a grain of salt. Read many training manuals, dog behavior analysis, and guides. Come up with a training system that works for you, you're family & your dog. Honestly, he has many truly great points and ideas concerning dog behavior and training but I cannot say that 100% everything he teaches relates to our family.
Take from it what you will and apply as you create your own regime for your pup or pups.
