Publisher's summary

Pebble Cove is known for giving tourists the cold shoulder, but a frozen body is something new.

The people of Pebble Cove are thrown into a forced hibernation when the worst snowstorm in a decade hits the Oregon Coast. They expect to find damages once the snow thaws, but a frozen body down by the pier comes as a terrible surprise.

Rosemary is keeping warm with an abundance of chai tea, wooly sweaters, and further research into Asher’s past. But when a second body is found, she can’t deny the chilling thoughts that the two deaths might be connected. Or that this might not be the end.

Another Great Outing In Pebble Cove

Rosemary and Asher find themselves in search of a serial killer. A surprise visit from Rosie's mom makes that more difficult. Lots of things are happening and maybe changing in Pebble Cove. Rosemary isn't sure she is prepared for them, but she won't let that stop her.

Good twist

Liked how the author is developing the characters and meshing all together so that she paints a picture of what that town is really like

A great audiobook!

Another great cozy mystery from Eryn Scott!

The little town of Pebble Cove and Rosemary's teahouse are so cute, and the quirky locals add a lot of humor and fun to the story.

I loved getting more clues to the series overarching mystery of what happened to Asher in addition to the current murders they are trying to solve. This mystery takes a couple twists and turns that kept me guessing whodunit far into the book. Eryn does a nice job balancing the two mysteries and developing Rosemary and Asher's friendship.

I highly recommend reading this book and the entire series. They are perfect to read or listen to while curled up with a good cup of tea.

Good cozy mystery

It was fun being back in Pebble Cove. This is the fourth book in the latest series from Eryn Scott and I could not wait to see what was new in Pebble Cove. I love stories about small towns, add in mystery and I was all in.

Rosemary Woodmere is yet again involved in solving another crime. After the worst snowstorm to hit the Oregon coast recedes, a body is foubnd and it is up to Rosemary to do what she does best.
When another body is discovered, Rosmary fears there could be a connection. She also continues to investigate the circumstances of her ghost Asher’s death. The more she learns, the more danger she is in.
There were numerous twists and turns within the story and I found this an entertaining cozy mystery. The narrator Jennifer Jill Araya did a great job bringing this story to life and made this an entertaining listen; her voice is pleasant and easy to listen to.

Great Cozy Mystery from Eryn Scott

Thoroughly enjoyable cozy mystery. Rosemary and Asher, and the other local ghosts, are once again embroiled in an investigation of who killed two people in the village.in curious circumstances that has been seriously affecting Rosemary's Teahouse
The red herrings were very well done and kept me wondering who done it. The mystery of Asher's life and family also kept the story rolling along. The narrator, Jennifer Jill Araya, did a great job of keeping the story moving with the right amount of expressiveness and ease of listening. I would recommend Eryn Scott to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries.

Another Great Ghostly Story

I loved this book as much as the first three in the series. I especially have an affinity for the former town mayor, now ghost, the kitty cat, Meow.

This book had an excellent plot. I really had no idea who the murderer was.

I love the close friendship between the main characters Rosemary and ghost, Asher. I find myself wishing that somehow Asher could ultimately have a choice to somehow return to real life to remain with Rosemary as they obviously love each other, or make the choice to move on to the afterlife.

I also like that the gruff Police Chief finds love in this book and that seems to soften some of his rough edges. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about some new ghost characters in this book.

The narrator is excellent in her main part as Rosemary (and as the other female characters(. I can’t say the same about her male characters — they all sound alike — but it’s not so awful that it really distracted from the story.

I highly recommend this book! It was a credit VERY well spent! I can’t wait to start listening to the next in the series!

If you haven’t read the first three books in the series, I highly recommend that you get the 3-book box set for just one credit, instead of getting each book individually — it’s a terrific bargain. Probably the BEST bargain I’ve found yet (and I buy a LOT of books on Audible).

You could probably read and enjoy this book on its own without prior knowledge from the first three books, but I think having read the first three books really helps the reader better understand the developing relationship between all of the characters in town.

By book two, I found these characters were beginning to feel like old friends — I’m going to be SAD when I’m finished with the last book in the series!

Nice Chai with a Wonderful Outcome

I enjoyed this story along with the other three before it. I am not sure I have found myself routing so much for ghosts in anything else I have read/listened to before . I think they are my favorite characters in all of the stories. I enjoy the relaxed cozy mysteries and look forward to what the rest of the series reveals. While, I didn't catch on to who the murderer was, there was a point I almost wanted to yell at the character to chill out and listen because she had it wrong, but about that time her friend did it for me. By that point of course, we all knew who it was. :) The narrator is wonderful and I enjoy her reading Eryn Scott's other series as well.
