About this listen

I am not a drug dealer.

I am not a seller…

I am not a handler…

I am not an abuser…

I am not a promoter…

I am not a smuggler…

However, I understand that I can not save the world or the people who have chosen those paths. So, making substances safer, grander, and extremely unique is my life’s work. What I have created can’t be duplicated, stepped on, or mistaken for anything else. I’ve curated one thousand eight hundred twenty-seven strands of the purest, rarest white on the market. I am not interested in or addicted to even one of them.

It is not a manufactured substance that I’ve chosen as my drug. It’s a person. A woman. A storm. What she is can’t be duplicated, stepped on, or mistaken for anything else. God curated one strand of the purest, rarest woman on the planet. Her name is Egypt Johanson. She’s faultless. She is flawless. She is pure. And, not even rehab could cure me of my addiction.

I am Chemistry.

I am a Chemist.

The Chemist.

And, I am, in fact, an addict.

I love the series and it has been great so far until this one. The female voice is boring and slow. I found myself waiting for the undercover story to blow up rather than the love story. Nonetheless still good.

I love the series

I love this from beginning to end.Chemistry is so many men. Those who have deep seated hurt, and I scared to let go and allow someone in. Even though their heart is craving for it. I love this book. I love all hurt tow works. I'm gonna be broke.Cause i'm going through all the series. Now, if someone would do a correct layout of how to read all the books in order, that would be amazing. I tried to find it, but it was incorrect. So now i'm just reading them by series.

love it.

This series is wonderful! The ending of Chemistry is a tad bit unrealistic lol...because we all know things would end much differently but it was entertaining nonetheless. The author's bio says she lies for entertainment and that's exactly what she does! And does it well! lol I was hooked and listened to book 2 & 3 immediately afterwards. It's a dream scenario to capture a man's heart in this way and then know how to nourish and nurture it as well. Had me pondering a few things as a woman. The guy's narration was great but the woman's narration was interesting. It was very monotone which was a little off-putting but maybe worked for Eden/Egypt's alluring presence. Overall, def worth the listen. Check it out!

Hooked and listened to all 3 books in one week

When we think about the terms "true love" we often think of the happy ever after. We think about the love at first sight, the hot sex, marriage and babies but never the hard stuff. Love is more than the cute stuff and Chemistry and Egypt's story shows that. I loved how it showed his weakness and strengths and his willingness to to treat his illness and not just ignore his mental health. This was a great read!

WOW! WOW! WOW! I was not expecting this at all. I dnf’d ebook due to the long prolog but I’m sooooo happy I got the audiobook. i’m hoping she uses both narrators for more projects bc I typically don’t like the female narrators but this one was amazing!

Chemistry has taken the top spot

I’ve already read the physical book twice but had to give the audio version a try after some of my favorite bookstagrammers shared their thoughts on it. Winston did an amazing job capturing the persona of Chemistry! His voice painted such a vivid image of the world between Chem and Egypt. I love this book so much and can’t wait to read the others in The Grey List.

I will say that hearing him audibly swallow after several sentences throughout the entire book did irk me. Kind of like nails scratching a chalkboard 😭.

JUST WOW!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the story of love between Chemistry and Eden/Egypt. They met in an unconventional way at the mansion. The mansion, in and of itself, was a story just waiting to be told😜🔥. I loved the way that Chem loved his woman, Eden. I was somewhat bothered by her dishonesty. I understood that it was her job, but still, her continued dishonesty was difficult for me to reconcile. I must admit that there were parts of the story that dragged. The narration, inner dialogue, was A Lot. Lots of purple prose, which isn’t bad, but it got unnerving at times. Overall, it was a beautifully written love story. The standout for me was Chems relationship with his sisters. That man loved those girls and it was beautifulAs for the narration, I enjoyed both the male and female. I highly recommend this book.
