About this listen

Alistair Duston is for the streets of Leakston, Mississippi. That means nothing when he and his family owned them, literally.

As heir to the Duston Dynasty, he never had to worry about anything but his horses, cattle, and dogs. How things can change in the bling of a signed contract. When he is forced into an impossible position, will he remain faithful to the streets or commit to one that might be able to give him the world?

Ireisi Jackson doesn't bother anyone and lives her life like a fly on the wall. Just because you're a fly on the wall doesn't mean the buzzing of your wings won't be loud. When her family betrays her in the worst way, she's forced to endure a new life that she never wanted or asked for.

They say a man will sell his soul for money. Well, apparently their daughters too.

Will a forced contract be the end of two lives forcefully smashed together, or will it bring those lives together to turn a mess into a blessing? Only time, tolerance, and patience would be able to tell. Find out if Alister and Ireisi will be able to agree to the Terms of Love.

Yes! Yes! Yes!!

Terms of move was a great “read”. Mel Dau has done it again. The character development is spot on and the story line is rather unconventional but very believable. I love the touches on STD, respect, family, and authenticity. Additionally, the jokes were on point and love prevailed with God’s guidance. Oh, the narrators were great. Wesleigh is the GOAT 🐐 on audible.

Where is my contract.

I listened to this because of the author and the narrators. I knew there was no way that I would go wrong with this purchase. I wish the story was longer. I really love the Ree was a strong woman and stood her ground most of the time. Thank God for the wisdom of Ms. Kora. She was really the glue that held everybody together.

It be Your Own People

Overall it was a good story. The preview drew me in. It is so true that just because you are a relative it doesn’t mean you’re family. I think there were moments that I was hoping for more. I would have love to have more of the back story or context for some of the relationships.

Enemies to Lovers

Alistair and Ireisi meet in the most unconventional fashion - her father has pretty much sold her hand in marriage, and his father has agreed. The problem is that neither Alistair nor Ireisi are willing to go along with their foolishness. A lot goes on in this book: family drama, fights, betrayal, romance, friendship and murder. I couldn’t stop listening nor laughing. As heartbreaking as the story was at times, it was SO funny. Mel Dau is a master at playing with your heartstrings, while fiddling with your funny bone. The narration was perfection. Both Wesleigh and Midnight knew the assignment. They didn’t just read the lines, they performed those lines. Well done all around.

Great listen!

I live in Charleston so when I listened to my first Mel Dau book I was intrigued. They don’t miss. This was an amazing love story that had the right enough of action to stay listening. Great author.
