Mel Dau ‘Melvin’s Daughter’ has been taking the literary world by storm since April of 2018 with her debut release A Charleston Love Story: Khiaere and Phy where she highlighted her hometown Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The first two years of her career she published fifteen titles under Queens of Lit Presents that all debuted in the top twenty-five on Amazon’s Best Sellers Chart. In 2020, this obsessive reader turned author had the privilege to sign to B. Love Publications where she continues to grow and sharpen her God given craft. Her first Best Seller came with her title Pet the Kitty in July of 2020. To further grow her empire, in August of 2020, she established Mel Dau Publications, LLC. Since, she has had great success with every release including adding audiobooks to her repertoire. Through her writing she has established a lane all her own, being the Queen of Informational Dramas. With each release she fulfills her purpose to her readers with her E³ formula – to entertain, encourage, and educate. Her overall desire is to use her fiction catalog to help change at least one person’s non-fiction reality. Mel Dau is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the mother of a young adult. In March of 2024, she took the leap of faith and made the pivot from an HR professional to a full-time author. Being an author is at the center of the purpose of her life.
