Something was missing in this m/m/m story

I liked the narrator and Steve & Joey's previous story (Choosing Happy, #3). But the transition to include Adam didn't quite work for me. Maybe the story was too short or the character development relied on melodramatic events. But it was ok overall and I would recommend this if you liked others in this series.

A Fitting End

I struggled to empathize with Adam, but this book was very sweet and felt like a full circle ending. Not to mention that MMM is always hot.

Where True Love Abounds Let No One Judge Others

Aria Grace's novels never ceases to amaze and enamore me. She is famous for addressing tough issues and she does so in such a beautiful and tender way.

I don't want to give too much of the story away. In this novel she tackles drug addiction and overdose of a friend, she tackles suicide ideation and suicide in general. She also addresses polyamory.

In Choosing Happy: More than Just Friends #3, we are introduced to Steve and Joey. In this book, Choosing Us: More Than Just Friends, we continue with Steve and Joey with the inclusion of Adam as a new member of their family. Together, they form a beautiful polyamorous relationship.

With all the talk over "polygamous marriages" that were discussed during the lead up to marriage equality,  maybe one day plural marriages will become acceptable. It may not be for everyone but all marriages deserve equal protection under the law. it is not for any of us to judge the type of relationships that people enter into. All relationships between consenting adults deserve respect and spousal protections under the law.

The More than Friends series continues when we follow their friend Alex out to Denver where the Mile High Romances continue. I sincerely believe and hope that one day a producer will take notice of these novels. The characters are so well developed and they would make an amazing television serial drama.

An amazing final instalment in this series

Another amazing installation in this More than Friends series by Aria Grace. This is a contemporary m/m/m. Some very dark topics are discussed but there is a slow build to a HEA. Love this series.

I need more!

I think book 10 end the More Than Friends series and I am so sad! I tried to stop and savor this one, but who was I kidding. I listened straight through.

We met Steve and Joey in Choosing Happy and this is a continuation of their story. And just when you think Aria couldn't possibly make these books hotter... In comes Adam. I was starting to get disappointed thinking that Steve and Joey would have to split to make room for Adam to be part of the story.

WRONG.

Hotness ensues.

Michael Ferraiuolo did a great job with narration although there was one moment toward the end that I felt he lost the characters. Other than that, I was able to make the distinction between characters from his voice and that is no easy job with 3 main male characters together talking often.

This won't be my last Aria Grace book. definitely worth a purchase!!

Grrr. I'm not happy, Bob...

The narrator is quite good with the books. Really good. My issue is the blurb about the book was not descriptive enough or I would never have selected it. Here we had a perfectly good love story in book 3 that was so good, so loving, so HEA. I loved how Steve was so sweet and tender with Joey, had a cute nick name for him, he was so special. Then the author had to go and ruin it by bringing in a 3rd. I didn't feel a connection between Joey and this other guy, or Steve and this other guy. Just all of a sudden there's "I Love you's" going around. Now there is nothing special about Steve and Joey 's relationship because just anyone can join. Pfft. Ruined.

Enjoyable MMM

I enjoyed this! I’m not really a fan of MMM, but the emotions engendered were so tender that I overlooked it.

Ok, so it opens with Steve and Joey and they are lovely together. They had great chemistry, and their relationship worked. Steve I disliked from Book 2! Absolutely disliked! But I found myself moving away from disliking him to genuinely caring about him. I loved how he cared for Joey.

Then Adam is introduced, and we see that his life is a mess. He’s broke and homeless, and soon Joey realizes this and invites him to live with himself and Steve. Eventually, Adam works for Steve and they get to understand each other better.

Steve is aware of the feelings Joey had for Adam (a guy he worked alongside at Paddles) and was never threatened by those feelings. Matter of fact, he encouraged them. Soon, Steve also begun to care for Adam and the feelings developed and deepened among them.

Their love became complete. Their chemistry – wonderful. Sweet! ☺
