About this listen

Her attitude is less than merry and bright....

Melanie Harper and Christmas do not see eye to eye. While most people look forward to the holiday, it's something she's come to dread. So when she receives a house in the town of Silver Bell Falls as a gift, her immediate reaction is to reject it. After all, with a name like that, you're almost guaranteed to be surrounded by people who love Christmas!

He sees it as the most wonderful time of the year....

Josiah Stone is all about peace on earth and goodwill toward man. Maybe it's because he's the sheriff of a town named after a Christmas song, but that doesn't make it any less true. Christmas is his favorite time of year and living in Silver Bell Falls where everyone feels the same only adds to his festive outlook on life.

Can a white Christmas change everything?

When Melanie is forced to stay in Silver Bell Falls over the holiday, she's less than thrilled. But after meeting the sexy sheriff, she finds that there is something to be said about the magic of Christmas.

This is my kind of Christmas story! I am not huge into Christmas books but Silver Bell Falls was very enjoyable.

Wonderful!

This chick needs to say Bah-humbug at least onetime. Just. Once. But, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t. She has had a lot of bad luck in Christmas past. My heart just kept breaking when she talked about it. Everything that happened, it hurt.

When her grandmother leaves her this house, I felt like it was the best slap in the face. It’s so fun that she gets this house. And even better that the sherif is just next door. It’s kismet.

I’m in a very Christmas mood this November and this story was just perfect for it.

The Grinch’s Girl

The narrator took a little to get used to, and the story took a couple chapters, but after that it was a great book. Easy read, reminds me of a Hallmark movie. Highly recommend and moving on to the next book in the series!

Great Easy Read

Good short story!

This was pretty much your typical feel good holiday story. We’ve got a writer who hates Christmas (with good reason), a local sheriff, and the small town of Silver Bell Falls where everyone loves Christmas. The storyline was predictable, the characters likable, and Christmas spirit abound. If I have a Cristina it is that there was pretty much an instalove match.

Feel good Christmas story

The storyline of this book was really good however the narrator sounded like an old woman at times and she just wasn’t good with the difference in the voices and stuff it drove me crazy the book was great just wish we had a different narrator

Narrator Killed this book

Never disappointed in anything’s she writes. The narration was perfect. Modern day Grinch . Mel was forced to live in her grandmas home in a town all about Christmas which she hates . Can she find love in the town that drives her crazy?

Always a awesome story

I wanted to love this tale and I think the story was fun but sadly the narrator was simply to whiny and over the next op as female character it detracted from the story. I my actually read the story again to get the full impact of the liver story.

Bah Humbug

Really enjoyed this story. It has the perfect amount of Christmas spirit, a well developed and not graphic romance and a believable storyline. Pair that with excellent narration and you have a Christmas gem. Recommended!!

Perfect Christmas romance

The narrator is awful. The story was okay but the narrator made it such a very hard book to finish. She made Mel sound like a high school, with the snarky attitude and all. She also needs to work on the voices she does of men. Oh gosh, they were horrible. Sorry Marietta, but I don’t think this is your calling.
